Happy for the Raptors. I don't think I've ever rooted against a group of former Suns players before this Miami squad. Goran, Gerald, STAT and JJ.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Dragic and Wade don't match.

When one has the ball the other goes hide.

LeBron James on Channing Frye making 7-of-9 3-pointers and scoring 27 points: "This is why we got him."

I thought Channing Frye was gonna be an integral part of their team during their playoff run. I actually didn't expect Love to play as well as he has however.

What are Westbrook's stats in the clutch?

I always feel comfortable as the opposition against him, take away foul calls in the last 2 minutes and he has to hit shots.

He just took a contested 3 and missed, Parker makes an uncontested jumper and Spurs up 2.

The Spurs are so damn impressive. Pop has no fear playing Anderson or West in big moments. This KD free agent thing is gonna be fun to follow in the summer.

Great job by Presti for hiring a worse coach than Scott Brooks.
That's remarkable.

Durant "I'm 50/50 on either the Spurs or the Suns."

Following day headlines... "Durant chooses San Antonio."

Its hard to watch amare as such a shell of himself. He is still not boxing out though, that hasn't changed.

Man I really hated Dwayne Wade when he played with Lebron. He was always such a whiny bitch. But after seeing some highlights of him this year an watching him play this year in general, I am reminded why I liked him pre-Lebron James.

I used to like him too, then really didn't at all, now I guess I don't mind him.

Feel like a huge idiot for saying that I'd be dissapointed if Devin Booker "only" turned out to be another Klay Thompson.

Just look at this boxscore, particularly the fg% and 3pt fg%.....the only way in today's league to beat teams like elite ones is to load up on 3 pt shooters, and I am talking about pretty much every position.....either you need 2 elite guys that can hit on extremely high volume with a couple other threats, or you need 4 guys that can hit it from anywhere on the floor.

And the best shooter in the world was sitting on the bench :o
Green's shooting is what schocked me the most. For Lillard and Thompson games like that isn't something new.
Klay is showing in those playoffs he isn't just "good role player who profit from playing with Curry". If Booker become Klay 2.0 I will be very happy.
Maybe drafting Murray/Hield wouldn't be the bad thing?

If you really think the Spurs will win, and the odds went up THAT much after one game, I would bet more on them if I were you. However, personally I would never bet on the Spurs as I could never find myself hoping they win.

I used to make a lot of money on basketball (only playoffs) in college because almost ALWAYS it seemed that win a favored team lost a game, particularly a home game, and especially the first of two home games, they would almost ALWAYS win the next one, usually by double digits. Even an underdog in a closer matched series would usually win game 4 if they lost game 3 (unless they were already down 3-0).

But I don't think I will bet on basketball any more, even though I thought I might bet on OKC last night. I tend to do much better in football, where individual games have much more at stake (other than a game 7 in basketball).

That's fair enough. I look at betting as purely business. A business that's usually in the red for me. So for me, betting on the Spurs isn't because I want them to win but if I can make money off them while they do it, I might as well try.

Yeah, me too. I almost always bet on what I think the best bets are, regardless of teams and how much I like or hate them. But I will pull for the Spurs opponent in every series so I'd rather not bet on them. If I HAD to bet on one team to win it all though, I probably would have picked them. I have also bet on teams often that I still HOPE lose but know (at least in my head) that I am making a smart bet....and I will still pull for them to lose but know there is silver lining if they win or lose.

My investment is one game away from going down the drain. Yes, I did put another decent bet on the Spurs last night when they were paying $4.50.

Well I'd feel worse for you if I wasn't pulling for OKC. However, having said that, I would STILL probably bet on SA winning this series. Not bet, but guess.

You don't typically think of the Thunder as a defensive team, or at least I didn't, but...
