Heat take Game 3 in a laugher...Game 4 is the series and it will be tight. Whoever wins that takes it imo.

JV willed us to win that game. I wish Casey would recognize and give him a longer leash.

It's actually shocking how much better the Raptors are. Now if the actually believe it, and stop being terrified, they'll win this series in 6. There's nothing Miami is doing to stop Lowry and Derozan. Why these guys can't shake the nerves by now is confusing.

you do realize toronto had the 4th best record in the league, and under that setup would have played detroit and likely made the 2nd round, right? and miami as the 7th seed would have faced charlotte as a 10th seed? conference seeding had nothing to do with these two teams making the 2nd round

And both Miami and Toronto are good teams lol. They are super evenly matched evidenced by the fact that theres been 3 straight OT games between them. And Miami and Toronto's strength is on D. Of course it's going to an ugly series. Not everyone has the offense that CLE,SA and GSW have. Why are we knocking teams that play hard defense? That's the way the playoffs have always been.

I'm not talking about the 2nd round. I'm talking about the conference finals.

Toronto if they get to the 2nd round under the best records format would be playing OKC and they would get eliminated.

So the final 4 in all likelihood would be GS vs OKC and Spurs vs Cavs. Unlike now where one of these 2 teams(Heat/Raptors) will get curb stomped in the ECFs.

Good experience for the rooks and Whiteside though

Heat are advancing based on what? Heat fans are dillusional. I'll put it in a nice way, you guys are not a good basketball team.

No doubt I have said as much. Only problem is; Toronto is a lot worse. Two ISO chuckers shooting 10% ain't gonna cut it, not on south beach bud

We agree they are playing poorly, but if they even play half their game we got a chance to steal one at south beach bud. Our top 2 players today, Val and Caroll. We don't fully depend on Lowry and Demar but it could be scary if they get it going.

Tonight you had Lowry playing awful, DeRozan playing awful including the single worst FT performance of his career. Wade and Dragic played well, Whiteside played well. And you STILL lost. Last game, same story and you barely won. You're losing to our depth.

If DeMar and Kyle were even at 70% performance this series wouldnt even be close. Its a bit embarassing for your team actually.

What are you on about? This is EXACTLY who Demar and Lowry are. Keep waiting on them to "step up".

Demar is a wannabe Kobe that shoots mid range Js at 30%. Il live with it

Lowry is just a bonafied Choke artist. Better hope that plane has a Basketball court inside so he can get some more practice shots up.
Ok so you're struggling against a bunch of role players and choke artists, what a great team you have there.

Weren't really struggling. Just playing sloppy. Don't have to be a star to cause a turnover so the role players took advantage of our mistakes. We beat ourselves. I don't say that out of confidence though. Just saying it that way because we shot 49% as a team.

For a second I was convinced that the Heat are actually a good team, seeing all their cocky fans. But the Heat are such a joke. Those old legs can't handle this long series. Wade and Dragic can't play any better and Lowry and Derozan can't play any worse. The Raptors should've won both games by double digits if they just made their free throws.

Most teams play better at home. Raptors had the best road record in the East and 3rd best in the league. It's not going to be that easy.

We would have won without overtime if refs didn't blow calls at the end of game 1
We would have won by double digits in game 2 if we didn't commit 21 turnovers tonight.

I always knew heat is fools gold. I mean before lebron joined them they were average, now he's left and they are back to being average. If lowry and demar weren't mental midgets this would be a sweep for raptors.

Dwane Casey has the answer to this series right on the stat sheets. Kyle and Demar are taking approx. half the team's shots at a 35% clip. So all he has to do is move some of those shots over to Ross (PnR on Joe Johnson) or Carroll ISO's / corner 3s. That, coupled with more realistic FT shooting could be enough.

I'm just happy we aren't getting swept! Maybe... just maybe Lowry is feeling a little more confident now.

Wouldn't call being stripped 7 times in one quarter "sloppy". You weren't exactly throwing the ball out of bounds.

I only went there because he did.

But Lowry was playing terrible in the first round too so it's not like it's out of the norm.
