If Kemba can replicate this performance Sunday then I will be shocked, not because I doubt him but because he expended so much energy and this is such a tough turnaround with the 1:00 PM tip.

I'm going to be a nervous wreck for the next 37 hours.

What a memorable playoff performance! It's too bad nobody bothered to join in on the fun. :(

Yeah he finally had a good game and all for naught yuck

I got kemba going 12-28 fg today for 30 pts.

We need him to carry us to have any shot today. Relive his epic Big East tourney run

If I were Kemba I wouldn't like coach saying IT is a guy that can get the big shot when it is needed at the end and we don't have one. I don't think IT is any better than Kemba is. I think they have fairly similar stats, no? Kemba is great at getting his own shots, and often good looks, maybe less great at creating for others but there's Batum or Lin for that (least season at least). OK, Wade, LeBron, McGrady, are guys like that and on a higher level than Kemba for sure. I think LMA is another one, especially if he's in the post. But IT?

Kemba had a didn't seem ready game 1 and a tough, tough game 7 but he was huge in game 6 and others. Kemba performed well in the playoffs.

I don't think Kemba really cares about coach's opinions about other players... but clifford said IT is offensively Super-star is a stretch, IT is an all star, but no way his offense is super star worthy, his size determines it, the same goes to Kemba... two very similar players...

I prefer Kemba. And Kemba's bigger, maybe by 1.5-2 inches.

IT is a little better at scoring and playmaking, but Kemba is a better defender and rebounder. I have them about even, but they are very similar.

I'd rather have kemba. Before this season it was close but kemba really improved this year.

Thomas has been bad both years in the playoffs, he's a defensive liabilty, etc.

It'd be hard to build a contender around either but I think kemba is the better of the two.

I'd like to see Kemba play in a system where he doesn't have to log 40+ minutes every game. I bet his numbers would surge.

Clifford plays his studs super long minutes because he doesn't trust the bench. And that is a problem that some have contrasted with how Steve Kerr approaches the game.

Because Kerr has the most reliable backups in the game. Ezeli is always going to bring defense and rebounding. Livingston is a steady defender, great mid-range game, and good passer. Igoudala is a do-it-all guy that will always contribute somehow. Even if part of their games are off, they are able to contribute in other ways. And even if those games are out or don't play well, they can come out with Varejao, Speights, Barbosa, Ian Clark, Brandon Rush...

Our bench is headlined by a super streaky PG in Lin, more highly inconsistent guys in Kaminsky, Lamb, and highly one-dimensional players like Al, Daniels, Hansbrough and everyone else was straight up useless. When they're on, they're on, but they cannot be relied on anywhere close to the level GS's second unit is relied on.

Yea, that's fair. What is unfair is Golden State's roster I suppose.

Clifford is the best coach ever, he's basically the Sierra Mist of coaches. So far be it for me to criticize him but when Kemba is shooting like garbage or the game is way, way outta hand (like playing the Warriors at home) it would be nice if Coach didn't run Kemba into the ground futilely.

seriously, before the ASB, before Al joined the bench... Hornets bench was top 5 in the whole league in production, better than warriors...

Kemba was iron-man this season. Missed only 1 game and logged big minutes.

Yeah, Al wrecked our second unit lineup. I guess its better than having him wreck the starters, but he should have just been left out of the rotation entirely. I tried to warn Lin fans before the season about the Al effect. We should have left the bench alone and ran it through Lamb and Lin. Lamb is a better scorer than Al and no worse on defense. Cliffs allegiance to Al is really frustrating. Al is seriously one of the worst players in the entire league in terms of the negative impact he has on a team.

You would have persuaded me if you called Cliff the Fresca of coaches.
