"An MRI is scheduled Sunday for Whiteside's right knee, with a season-ending prognosis feared"

I just hope it's not serious enough to impact his free agency value. As for this season, it was bad enough without Bosh, but having no Whiteside either is too much to overcome. I doubt he'll be back this series. If Valanciunas comes back, we're done. I think a second round loss is par for this team, so I don't feel like our championship dreams were crushed by this injury or anything like that.

He won't come back regardless. He wants cash, not interested in winning.

Come on guys, Hassan has wanted to win all year more than anyone else. If he is hurt, I wouldn't rush him back or ask him to risk it. Hassan get healthy big man!

Exactly, I would do the same thing if I was in Hassan's shoe. I wouldnt risk million of dollars to come back and reinjured myself. I don't get this thinking that Hassan doesn't care about winning just bec he wants to be extra cautious on his knee injury. Also, nobody even know if the medical staff are the one held him back since they will need to do a MRI to figure how bad is his injury.

Dude just had dinner with Bill Russell and had a heat ring in his hand saying "he needs to win one of these in miami". He certainly wants money, but he definitely wants to win championships.

This kid has a very bright future ahead of him. I'm impressed every time I see him play because of the defensive impact he makes.

So you were really unimpressed in game 2?

What's with calling out Hassan about Money? The guy has finally made it in the league and is well respected, im sure he's struggled for years to figure it out, it isnt easy going from place to place in the world when he probably felt like he belonged in the NBA all this time. Knee injuries are no joke. I really hope this guy can heal, but if it is in the best interest of his health to not play, then so be it. Other players are going to need to pick up the slack for this team. To be honest, Ive liked this guys games since the summer league and I was mad that the raptors did not sign him and signed greg steigma instead.

I think best case scenario it's a sprain and he's out a few weeks. No way he comes back in this series

I think the soft cast on his entire leg is a good indication that that it was the medical staff.

Look at the way GS is treating Curry, I guess they don't care about winning either. I know we need Haasaan way more than GS needs Curry, but u still have to think about his future. U can't be that selfish and ruin the kids future after how much hard work he has on to make it in the NBA.

i'd rather see him miss the rest of this season than being injured for a longer extended period of time.i think the heat is done this second round anyways.barring some miracle, of course

The Warriors still an elite team without Curry. Miami is looking like a lottery team right now without Whiteside. We need him in the lineup ASAP if we have any chance of beating a Toronto team thats not even that good.

I totally agree that we do need Hassan in the line ASAP, but no reason to rush him and play him injured, it does not help the heat or Hassan.

Well apparently they are listing him as questionable for game 4 so I am choosing to take that as a sign that its not as bad as they thought it was.

I think for sure he doesn't play next game, that would be being way too risky. Then I think from there, if it turns out to be something that is less severe, it'll be more about being cautious and thinking about the long term as opposed to the short.
