Worst fans ever, just relocate this garbage organization to Alaska or something.

Really man you guys left after game one and came back when it went to overtime. Every fan base does this. People have lives outside baskeball and dont want to be stuck in traffic for a damn hour.

Not all of you but those morons do, the rest you should go somewhere people know what what respect is.

You say all this like Canada didn't recently elect a complete joke of a political leader itself. You too, have basically elected a celebrity, just one that bows down like a obsequious serf to whatever pc piety is the rave at any given time. That doesn't make him better than Trump: it just makes him Trump (i.e. no substance) without the willingness to step on toes or piss people offs.

I mean, Trump is a **** candidate, but at least he's not just a pretty face that tries to be everyone's friend, and says the least controversial thing he can think of whenever possible. He has no more substance than Trump: he's just a crowd-pleaser with good PR, and based off your posts, that's what you Canadians deserve. He walks, talks and acts like a celebrity, not a political leader; y'all have nothing to brag about in this regard.

And yet here you are, talking smack about a far more successful country than yours, because you're upset someone didn't respect your anthem? Give me a damn break. No one likes an obsequious suck-up who is desperate for everyone to like him, and that's how you come across with this "we finish your anthem" bs. If you want to know why people "disrespect" you, then this is why.

This is a classless move whether you like it or not. Don't worry Wade, you're only going to hear it for another 2 more times this season.

I'm not one for national anthems at sporting events, just saying if someone did this while The Star-Spangled Banner was playing, 'Murica would be up in arms about respect.
I think he's either going to stay, or leave.

Whiteside and Val injured themselves yesterday, Wade hit a ridiculous amount of threes, and Lowry came back from his horrible shooting slump and the only thing people focus on is Wade shooting during the Canadian national anthem when it's pretty clear he just wanted to hit his last jump shot before getting in line.

Was Wade unclassy? Yes. Now can y'all move on?

This is exactly the response I expect from someone like you.. Thank you for proving my point. You responded to one line In my post. Here I am talking about sports you lose you mind about a trump comment. Everyone looks at American politics like a it's a joke and if you can't see it you a idiot. You claim more successful but your so far behind you can't even see it.. I'm not going to argue politics with you on a basketball forum.

Precedent was set in this situation before and I'm an Canadian nba fan who loves this country and I want NBA to deal with a classless player immediately. If they don't I feel like they are sending a message that the Canadian anthem doesn't matter but I have faith in Silver & Co to resolve this and make sure that this doesn't happen again

 Well, worst case scenario it will be a slap on the wrist. So, if you're wanting more, don't hold your breath because most people couldn't care less about it.

Wade wanted to make his last shot before he got in line. Anyone who has played basketball at ANY level knows that superstition of ending warmups (or a shoot around) on a high note.

I was chirping the Raps fans in my row for leaving game 1 when the Raps were down 6 with 30 seconds left. When they came back for OT I was chirping them even more.

Also, please leave the US v Canada and the politics out of this thread. There's plenty of places on the internet to get those opinions.
