Uber Serie A defender Benatia has generally been considered a disappointment so far btw.

So I didn't expect them to reach this mental level ever again. Even after the coaching change.

I don't know how many years Ancelotti signed with Bayern but I can assure my brother that Bayern will win the CL within 2-3 years with him.

Carlo has indeed signed up for 3 years, so hopefully your prediction comes true.

Bayern will buy Hummels this summer, improve their defense and win the Champions next year.

I dont think it is an improvement while you are already having boateng, benetia, Javi Martinez and Alaba(can be used there also)

Javi Martinez is a defensive midfielder not a CB and Guardiola was a fool to use him on defense. IMHO Boateng is overrated and use Alaba in CB position is stupid (he is the best LB in the world). Next year Bayern's regular CB couple (Ancellotti always use a 4 men defensive line) will be Benatia-Hummels.

Javi is being played on defense in national team and bilbao too. Alaba is not cb but an option. Boateng overrated but still much better than hummels. Benatia > hummels.

All i am saying hummels is not an upgrade for bayern.

I would guess Benatia will not even be on Bayern roster next season.

Just one note, that Heynckes team had the best player in the world in that year that they won everything, Ribery...

Well, one can like/rate Hummels or not but using Benatia as an example for a guy better than Hummels is just hilarious.

I think the only thing that guy's good at is smuggling razorblades under his arms, cause that's the only reason why those are always in the air and hitting others in the face.
The guy's just not good at all and not a good example to use in an argument against Hummels.

Who is Hummels? Is he a world class player or something that cannot be compared to Benatia?

What has he accomplished? Except one season out of his long career, there is nothing spectacular about him.

It's not like we are talking about Chiellini, Bonucci or Thiago Silva. It's freaking overrated Hummels.

Benatia will do fine with Ancelotti.

No. You understand better. Who on the earth would claim Jackson Martinez would score 20+ in Serie A other than yourself? No one :)

What is Mario Gomez goal counter in Süper Lig right now, though? He scored again against Gala.

Hummels is the guy who played a fantatistic world cup, with the final being his only subpar game.

I get why people might not like Hummels and I also even said that you could argue against him but certainly not with a mediocre guy like Benatia.
That guy makes stupid fouls left and right and can't be trusted to play a full game with all his elbows(to other peoples faces), while also being out of position or playing stupid passes quite often.

So again, Hummels might be overrated(like pretty much every German in your eyes  ) but using Benatia as an example to argue against him pretty much disqualifies anyone trying to do so.

Not many Spanish fans here. It's mostly English and German football that's discussed here.
Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett, Toni Kroos, Pep Guardiola, Ernst Happel, Joachim Löw.

i wouldn't hate if Atleti did... they deserved it, one of the best teams out there IMO that's constantly overshadowed by the bigger clubs. I like Simeone and like how hard they play..... had Real not be in it, I would easily cheer for them to win....

Plus, knocking off Barca, Bayern and potential RM would be one of the best runs to a championship we've seen in a long time IMO.

buttttttttttttttttttttttttttt

Hala Madrid.... :D
