At some point the have to promote the flyweights if they want that division to work.

Reem deserves next shot. Great finish by him, and should face the Werdum/Stipe winner next. Cain should fight one more time after he beats Browne. Reem has earned it by fighting consistently, while Cain barely fights once a year. He has fought only 6 times the last 5 year (fought 4 times against the same two guys- Bigfoot and JDS).

On another note, it is time for Bigfoot to retire or fight in some lower level promotion (i.e. Rizin, WSOF, etc.). Guy is winless in 6 of his last 7 fights (knocked out 5 times in the first round). He is not the same post-TRT, as he was prior to that. He is not a UFC level fighter.

Bigfoot has lost by KO in the first round 8 times. Time for him to hang them up or at least for the ufc to stop giving him fights. Its gruesome.

I didn't watch this event anyway, but even if I did, I'd have had to skip Bigfoot/Struve. God that's even worse than Struve/Nog. They're just begging for a death in the cage with this stuff.

It'll be sad to see what Bigfoot's life will be like in 20 years. So much unnecessary punishment. It's time to retire.

What's next for Overoid? Does he get the winner of Velasquez-Browne?

He deserves the title shot imo. Four straight wins over legit competition at HW is good enough. Cain or Browne...meh.

He's the obvious choice for next since Rothwell lost to JDS. Don't want another soon HW title rematch if Cain and Werdum win. Browne's not there yet. I suppose if Stipe wins then maybe Cain, but might as well get Reem his shot.

Glad Gunnar won. Saw lots of people really discounting him, and he was an underdog as well. Luke Thomas is one of my favorite guys, but his "Tumenov is a destroyer" talk, although tongue in cheek, was a little much.

Cain fights once a year and would be coming off a one fight winning streak if he beats Browne and if he actually makes it to the fight. If it was up to me, he'd have to win 2-3 before getting a shot. Just imo, most will disagree.

Hoping they feed Struve to the loser of Cain-Browne. Him fighting a guy with big power is about the only way to get an entertaining KO in the heavyweight division these days.

I thought Gunnar would be undersized and have a hard time getting the takedown. But he wasn't and didn't.

I agree and I think the UFC will go with Reem and any case, just trying to mention most of the possibles.

I don't need to see Struve get his jaw broke again. Though that's not really Cain's style and Browne would probably just elbow the back of his head.

Yeah, 2 wins would be reasonable for Cain. Reem's paid his dues.

lol watch Browne frantically try to get in last second shots before the ref gets there. I am not a Cain fan but wouldn't mind seeing him smash the sh*t out of Browne.

Something like that. It really leaves me no choice.
