To be fair I think the radio station is 93.7 and it actually plays a lot of great hip hop music you can't find on other stations. On my top 5 for sure.

But in all honesty, I feel like a lot Canadians who become US citizens probably act the same. They try hard to show their proud Americans but in doing so act way too patriotic than necessary.

Was raised in Canada up until 6 years ago when I moved to L.A. Just became a U.S citizen in March. Proud to be a citizen of both and I definitely rep Canada as much as possible here still.

I'm proud of the fact that Canada and America have distinctly different identities. If someone asked me would I want Canada to be more like Europe or more like America I would choose Europe without even thinking about it.

honestly i don't care that he doesn't want to be seen as canadian and i'd actually prefer a clown like him not repping our country, i just don't see the need to put it down and take jabs at it every chance he can. he just comes off really immature/unhappy for someone that's in his 50s and supposedly has it so much better there now.

He is very low on the ESPN totem pole of announcers especially considering how long he has been there. His career has advanced very little the past 10-15 years accross all the sports he is involved in. Perhaps that is why he is so angry - he needs to prove he is a somebody when he is stuck at relatively low profile within ESPN.

I stopped following Mark Jones on Twitter a couple of years ago. Not only is he disrespectful to Canada, the country where he was born and raised, but he is a jackass about it.

Unlike his brother Paul, Mark Is not very humble. He likes letting people know that he is very well paid by ESPN as if that makes him special.

Who knew that the ugly American is actually a Canadian and an embarrassment to our great country.

With the ESPN Cost Cutting going on it will be interesting to see if he lasts beyond his current contract. If you look at his WIKI profile it is a very undistinguished ESPN profile. He seems a bit oi an ESPN substitute teacher.

It's really bizarre that he's embarrassed he was born and raised in Canada. His rah-rah pro-Americanism is over the top posturing. He uses emojis like he's a teenage girl. Competent announcer, nothing special although the douchiness does shine through at times.

All in all the guy is odd and it's odd that he's Paul Jones brother. :dontknow:
