This is ridiculous. The MVP vote has leaked and become news before ROY. I know the MVP hasn't "officially" been announced and they haven't done the PC, but this is dumb.

I'm betting that with the MVP results being announced, they'll do ROY sometime in the next couple days. Hopefully anyways.

Next week Towns will be representing the Wolves pick during lottery selection.

So the NBA officially announced voting results for MVP.

Has the MVP ever been announced BEFORE the rookie of the year? Seriously, what the heck is going on here? Did the NBA forget about ROY? SMH.

It's too obvious who won the award thus the late announcement

NBA decided one team can't have two ROYs in a row so they just didn't give out the award this year.

Maybe they tried to get in contact with KAT but he's too busy working on his game that they couldn't reach him.

To be honest, that sounds not too unlikely

Going by that logic, they should've announced it FIRST then, not last.

Plus, everyone knew who the MVP was going to be. And the MVP is almost always the last award announced.

It was special, because it was unanimous and will be presented game 5. They like their Mvp's to be available. Nba still needs to work out a schedule to where the votes are in on time and awards will be handed out accordingly instead of order or random times.

Edit: funny... now I see that Curry has been given the MVP award. Since when is the MVP announced before ROY? Have I missed something?!

The NBA in 2K sports is so much better. The second the season ends they hand out every single award instantly.

Exactly. Can't we just skip the days until KAT gets what he deserves? The waiting process is really annoying. I want to know if he's the unanimous ROY.

The other rookies are trying to rig a contested ROY convention.

The sportsmedia conspired to do a massive troll job in voting for Julius Randle (who isn't even a rookie). Now the nba is too embarrassed to publish the results.

I agree the wait is getting annoying. I was thinking they would announce it this week, but it's getting unlikely. Maybe next week? They should have announced the MVP last, just like they used to. Why are they taking so long? It seems a no brainer he would win the awar that's for sure.

Showing some love seeing all these playoff teams and how much better they would be with Towns.

Of course Towns actually uses our super expensive high tech training facility during the off-season from time to time. Other pups need to take note. Next season Rubio should too for some time.
