Dwight on Inside the NBA

Post#1 » by Hogified05 » Wed May 11, 2016 3:56 am

I don't know who all stayed up to watch it but he was a sub for shaq. I highly suggest everyone in here to watch it. He practically had an awkward intervention and he handled it REALLY REALLY well to me. I would have crawled up into a fetal position ha. Stood in there took their advice/questions/criticism like a champ and had insightful answers, while not burning bridges.

Listen bringing back Dwight would it be good or bad? I don't know one day I want to the next I don't. But I don't think anyone can deny if he came back and we made a couple playoff runs it would be a pretty neat story. And I do think it would rejuvenate him coming back here for a few more years.

Anyways, it was a fascinating watch. Highly recommended.
The hero Orlando deserves is out there somewhere, Dwight was not the one we needed. So we will hunt for him...

If he wants to come back then bring him back. It's not like any top talent will sign with us.

That was so cringeworthy. His PR team trying to change his image before free agency

No thanks. We don't that clown here again :clown:

I don't think his PR team would tell him to get grilled live on air by Charles and be asked questions about the Rockets lol.

Dwight always had that side to him (the mature, serious side) but he's made far too many bad decisions in his life - off the court and on it. I don't think he's a terrible person, he's just not very likable.

I'd only take him if we struck out on a lot of others, and not for the max.

another dawhite thread, i can't wait til he signs with the knicks and this crap stops
aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

Props to him, he took that well!

I hope those kinds of comments get under his skin and he gets real focused over the next couple of years. Would be nice to see him back in good form and contending again.

No idea where he'll end up though.

Too hard to buy what that guy is selling after 2012.

I never watch Inside the NBA but randomly turned it on last night. I'm the biggest Dwight hater after 2012 and I'll be the first to tell anyone that he is an overrated basketball player. But that interview actually impressed me. There is no way he was prepared for those questions or in any way was any of that planned. He was mature about it and the answers were pretty good. I even admit after it was over that part of me thought to give him a second chance here.

It showed a more mature Dwight for sure. I agree with Barkley, I think he should chase a championship and that wouldn't be here.

He did come across really well and it does look like the penny has dropped for him. Unfortunately he's still making bad decisions, as you can see from that jacket!

Same thing happened to me. was lazy to get off the floor and go and take a shower.... then it came on. haha

But yeah.... they legit grilled him... called him out whenever they felt as though he was trying to give cliche answers and laid a lot of things out on the table.... and for me.... it wouldn't be surprising that that was a genuine look of "damn.... this is my last chance to go out with a bang"... his ears were open to the advice that former talents had to give.

lol'd when they talked about everyone "hating him" hahaha

yes there is a part of me that really feels as if.... "dwight came and made a city wide apology for being an a$$ and agreeing to taking a reasonable salary"... i might not be as vehemently negative about the situation.

couldn't remember who mentioned it... but they discussed what i've always said. at this point in his career he should focus on the things that would propel his teams which would be to leave a legacy as one of the best rebounders and defensive players and setting his ego aside.

my only other concern would be how his body would hold.

You knew they would go after him when right away they started criticizing him for his pink jacket. They obviously don't respect him and he only has himself to blame.
