Him or LaRue Martin. (golden state, in the 70s?). Everyone else has been eliminated. Google help, its Portland. Looking at LaRues numbers, i'd say Bennett is the worst.

Hell, at least Greg Oden had flashes of greatness. Bennett just had the luck of being a #1 pick in one of the more weakest drafts in history. Almost feel bad for him.

He really is one of the most head scratching picks of all time. At least with Oden he had a crazy year and had a NBA ready body. With Bennett I never saw why he went number 1 overall, even in a weak draft:

Dude was 16/8 at UNLV, not exactly world beating numbers....

He is still young and and he should be cheap. It is a low risk high reward deal. Even it doesn't work, we lost nothing.

Makes me think about the deal we could get on Eric Montross.

Question of the day....

When is the last time you thought of Eric Montross.

Oddly, within the last month. There was some show about college basketball and some of the video included shots of NC that included Montross.

All I remember is Boston (?) gave him something like a 10 year contract after they drafted him and then got bounced around the NBA like junk mail.

It's a low risk no reward deal. Bennett has been consistently bad everywhere he has played at the NBA, and NBA dleague level.

Its crazy the guy actually had decent college stats, but when you see him play in the NBA it looks like he never played basketball before.
