Been some good games so far this year. I think Klopp is doing fine so far, but it's really going to take a couple years for him to get "his squad" formed. 'Years' is a dying word in todays sports. I hope he gets his chance.

I'm hopeful we win this final, and secure a spot in the Champions League. More money for the coach to work with, and players like being on teams competing in the Champions league. Opens more doors. Personally I really liked Rodgers. We had the title a couple years back....it slipped through our fingers. Tough. I think people have to remember that Rodgers doesn't just get to sign whoever he wants. We're like #15-#20 as far as destinations these days. Klopp will find that out soon enough.

But Klopp is good. We'll start forming a team thats more "his team" and hopefully it's an improvement.

May 18th....lets win this thing baby!!! YNWA

Welcome! Klopp has already transformed this team. It's been so evident in this stretch of games. Including the current Europe run. If we beat Sevilla on the 18th, even better.

But they are jekyll and Hide at the moment.

And you never know if the brilliant team or the poor team will turn up.

I'm guessing Benteke will be let go. What price do you think he'll go for?

If it's a reasonable price I'd like him at Leicester as the Ulloa replacement in our plan B set-up.

Benteke is on his way out. No clue as to what he would cost. Likely not all that much to be honest.

So true. Been that way for a while, IMO. Way too many draws. I look forward to seeing what Klopp is able to do. Team has definitely shown that it could be top notch. It just isnt there week in week out, like you said.

When they are off....boy it can be brutal.

Tonight there was plenty of effort but the skill was missing.

I feel they are too reliant on Couthino having great game at the moment.

Emre was poor this evening.

Benteke must've heard that I enquired about him.

Not the best showing. A frustrating 90 minutes. Hopefully, we can finish above Southampton come Sunday.

Yep...another draw. Prob should consider ourselves fortunate for the draw.

Everyone's looking ahead....that much is clear. Bad habit.

West Brom are trash but I can't see Liverpool playing many of their top 15 players and Brom are at home.

Brom could win.

Dembele who was linked to Liverpool, signed with Dortmund.

Liverpool might have found a new keeper.
According to german media Mainz keeper Loris Karius will sign with the Reds for an opt out fee of €9 - €10M.

Certainly an upgrade over Mignolet if true...

He cost Liverpool many points this season with his blunders.

Don't know much about the Mainz keeper. Hopefully, it is an upgrade.

Well, that was a bummer.

We have work to do, clearly. I look forward to seeing what Klopp does this offseason. I have tickets to the game at the Rose-Bowl this July, and that should be awesome.

The good news is that just by appearing in the final, we qualify for next years Champions league. We get to skip several rounds if we had won...but sadly it was not our day. Congrats to Sevilla.

I didn't think you qualified for Europe.

That game summed up Klopp's liverpool this season. good and bad - inconsistent.

Its been an issue for years. When it is an issue for a long time, I think it goes beyond inconsistent and just highlights that its an average team.

But there are more than enough reasons to be optimistic going forward. But the full week between games next season will be frustrating.

More rest and you can concentrate on the league.
