Is it just me or does DWussy play better on the road? Hope we can finish them off in 6 but have a feeling it'll go to 7.

I predict Ross screws up 2 fastbreak opportunities this game by passing it to the other team.

Seriously, it usually happens every game this series.

Is DWussy Wade or DeRozan?

Wade absolutely lit us up in Miami. People forget his monster Game 3 because Lowry (thankfully) nullified it with his own.

After we blew Game 4 I thought we were toast. But we have 2 chances to win this, and I'd rather we have a Toronto team finally win a playoff series without going the distance. Let's hope Whiteside doesn't come back. But if he does, they still should have a chance.

My unofficial count has him at 6 TOs in the backcourt this series: Wade stole his dribble twice (both in OT), Ross followed up one of those with a desperation half court pass that was stolen, Ross got a steal yesterday and immediately threw it away, he tried to grab an uncontested rebound with one hand and swatted it directly out of bounds, and at least once he threw an ill-advised outlet pass to a Heat player, leading to a 3.

Honestly I'm just impressed, nobody else is even close to 6 TOs like that, especially off the bench.

our defense has been so elite these playoffs.
This series is just like a lot of the eastern conference playoffs in the 2000's. Low scoring, defensive battles, coaching adjustments back and forth. It used to be ugly a lot.
Sure our offense has looked like garbage but hats off to the coaching staff for putting us in this spot despite poor shooting from our backcourt.

The last time this date occured, I had a real, funny feeling in my stomach.
Later that very night, the Paris events took place.

Screw you, Friday the 13th.

OUR D is so on point this playoffs, if we make it to the ECF I believe we can actually challenge Cleveland to at least 6 games!

We lose when we're supposed to win and win when we're supposed to lose.

Tomorrow, by all accounts we would normally lose, but that's what makes me think we might win.

We really are the bizarro Raptors.

Exactly. Which is what pisses me off about the criticism and hate. People are comparing our low scoring, defensive minded games to Golden State and Cleveland's barrage of 3 pointers. Im sorry - but the Hawks nor the Blazers play the level of defense we play. People are looking at our offensive struggles and Cleveland's lack of offensive struggles to assume that they'll just blow us out of the water. Im sorry - but that just won't happen. If we do get to the ECF - I promise you, I absolutely promise you it will be a good series and will not end up a sweep. It will be a lot closer than people want to think - especially US media. I just hope we have DC and JV back.

injuries are piling up on both sides but we have the deeper team

i suspect whiteside is not playing. deng is really not a game changer anyway.

hopefully carrol is good for atleast 20 mins. We need his presence on D desperately.

could use a big performance from Patterson or Ross here.....................................is what we've all been saying for 2 seasons now.

Return to Toronto Raptors
