Official measurements from the Draft Combine.
Wade Baldwin IV at 6' 4" with a 6' 11.25" wing span is absolutely ridiculous.
Marquese Chriss at 6' 10" with a 7' .5" wing span is pretty good, seems like he grew a little bit.
Deyonta Davis at 6' 10.5" with a 7' 2.5" wing span and 9' standing reach is pretty damn good. Not his biggest fan but he's got some pretty impressive length, disappointed he won't be doing any on-court stuff.
Chiek Diallo would be interesting if we still keep our 2nd rounder, dude's got some crazy length and could be an interesting project.
Ellenson has a pretty high body fat for a pro athlete, but I wonder if he'd be any more athletic if he got down around 7% lol. His measurements came out pretty good, probably gonna be able to play some Center.

Re: 2016 Draft
Chriss came a bit taller and thinner than expected, and with high body fat. Not sure how that will affect him. Taller is good, but having only 222 pounds with 9.5% body fat is bad. Guess it's easier to fix, though.

Chriss was 233 - definitely heavier than I expected. Only 4 pounds lighter than Davis.
Baldwin and Ellenson were the real winners. Body fat you can deal with. Trainers can't help with wingspan.

And that was how the most skilled player in the draft went in the second round.

He's gonna need to put like 30 pounds on, or he's going to get bullied by literally everyone in the NBA. Felder at 177 is pretty damn good though.

But the great thing is that he is 5'10, one inch taller than expected, along with a 6'2 wingspan .
He can gain weight and strength over the years, I’m not concerned about that.

Interesting look at a workout Skal had last night. The DraftExpress guys seemed pretty impressed by him.

Re: 2016 Draft
Go Buddy.... he is my #3. Hope that he is a Sun!
"Oklahoma standout Buddy Hield measured a bit longer than expected at 6'5 in shoes with a 6'9.25 wingspan. Hield doesn't have standout size for a shooting guard, but he has well above average height and length to go along with a solid 212-pound frame that ranks prominently among prospects at his position historically."

Yeah, with that size I think he is gonna be able to play even some minutes at SF. He is really strong and tough too.

Re: 2016 Draft
I'm beating the horse on this point, but work ethic, personality, drive, competitiveness is what the Suns should be looking for... look no further than Buddy...
http://www.si.com/edge/2016/05/11/nba-draft-combine-results-measurements-vertical-jump-value
"This information gives teams a glimpse into a player’s versatility, especially as a defender. Wang uses the example of Draymond Green, a player that he worked with at the Warriors. At 6’7” he can play much bigger because of his large wingspan and reach—Green's 8’10" standing reach was greater than fellow 2011 Combine participants Drew Gordon, Miles Plumlee, Harrison Barnes and Tyler Zeller, who are all taller than Green.
So while all of those players also outperformed Green’s numbers in the vertical jump, Wang asserts that work ethic and drive—two traits that aren't measured at the Combine—give Green an edge over other players.
“Figuring out which players have those personality traits—through the interviews, personality tests and sports psychologists—may be the real useful part of the Combine,” Wang says. “In fact, character and work ethic have become increasingly more important to NBA teams in the last 10 years."

Re: 2016 Draft
DX has us taking Dunn, Luwau and Zhou Qi in a mock draft that doesn't take team needs into account.
I wouldn't be too upset with that. It sure would be nice if we could move into the top 3 though...Ingram/Simmons would be amazing. Bender would be nice too.
I think Thon Maker is worth a flyer in the 2nd round. Gary Payton's kid seems like he'd be a decent pickup too, if we could nab an extra pick.

So he speaks broken English? Or is this guy trying to criticize with misquoted text?

Re: 2016 Draft
Chieck Diallo is really impressing me right now, he definitely wasn't playing this well when he got minutes at Kansas. Wouldn't be a bad high upside prospect in the late 1st/early 2nd

Re: 2016 Draft
Ellenson just boosted his stock.
7 feet (in shoes) pretty much..
7'3 wingspan...
Originally, I thought he was going to be 6'10, 6'10.5 tops in shoes....
but his size and ability to shoot and improve is very intriguing.
