Sorry but Zambrano is the 5th out of those guys. I'm going with my homer pick of Okajima and Chris Young in the NL.

zambrano and oswalt dont even belong on the list.. 4.2 era, are you serious? its the 2007 allstar game, not the if you were good in 2006 allstar game. john maine gets 0 consideration? 9-4 2.7 era? :nonono: :nonono:

No doubt that Maine sure did get screwed, to not have him in the final five is a joke. Both Derek Lowe and Tim Hudson should have had some consideration as well.

As for the AL as good as Roy Halladay is, he doesn't belong on that list. Chad Gaudin seems like the logical choice over him.

There have been other pitchers who have been really good for a whole season though, and aren't complete psychos and don't fight their teammates.

So what? It's not the if you were good in June you get to go to the all star game vote.

NL: Young
AL: Escobar

The thing is that zambrano doesn't deserve it but what fans in the mlb are going to vote for tom gorzelany or chris young? ... two guys that many have not heard of compared to zambrano

Well Chris Young is winning the vote so far. So I guess the fans are not going just on name.
