Didn't Pride test people to make sure that they were on PED'S?

TRT Bigfoot is KOing horsemeat Ubereem, non TRT Bigfoot is getting KOed by the first jab he eats while LITERALLY lactating.

Let's not forget standing toe to toe and trading blow for blow with Mark Hunt when he was juiced out of his gills.

I didn't mean to bring up the Fedor vs. Anderson debate, I just hated how people crapped on Fedor after his 3 fight losing streak, saying he was always overrated and was never the best HW in the world, ect. And given his body composition and the fact that was never on TRT, I'd have to give him the benefit of the doubt for being clean, though that may be naive of me.

Gun to my head and if I had to bet, I'd guess Fedor isn't or at least wasn't always clean.

That said, people went overboard when talking about how bad his competition was a few years back. I remember people talking about how embarrassing it was that he lost to Werdum, who is headlining UFC this weekend as their HW champion btw. Bigfoot also got two title shots in the UFC after beating guys like Overeem and Travis Browne. TRT Hendo is obviously a good fighter.

Although if you want to criticize him for his last fight...then good I'll be standing right next to you saying the same stuff, because that one was embarrassing lol. Maldanado is actually a step up for him.

I think I'm actually more impressed by Fedor's prime run now than I was then.

To win like 30 fights in a row or whatever it was in the **** tire fire that is HW MMA is one of the sport's greatest accomplishments.

I wanted to at least mention this...the Jordan Parsons thing is such a sad story. RIP.

In my books, I always had Fedor on my #1 GOAT list. That's mainly because of his incredible run and the fighters he got through impressively but also partly because of the mystique around fighting in Pride. Admittedly, I got into MMA right when Pride was closing up so my exposure to Fedor was mainly through his bouts and highlights on Youtube, then when I got introduced to him, he was still wrecking the Tim Sylvias and Arlovskis of the MMA world.

By the time I got into MMA, Anderson had just started his title reign so he was still "new" on the champion level.

I was following the story on Bloodyelbow and it's such an incredibly sad and frustrating story. I hope his family finds justice

Jumping all over here, but I was never a fan of Gilbert Melendez. That said, kind of warmed up to him on his tuf season. Seemed more down to earth than I thought.

Then he was on mmahour yesterday and just completely owned the steroid thing. Admitted doing it and just said he made a mistake. Ironically it kind of made me a fan. No excuses, no denials, no bs. Just ownership. Cool of him to do and honestly the easy way out instead of digging yourself deeper.

Wow. It's shocking actually that no one ever does that. Cool.

So no tryouts, but a flyweight title shot is on the line for the next TUF. With Benavidez and Cejudo coaching, which is a cool fight, but seems really awkward as coaches for this...

Weren't Hendo and Bigfoot TRT'd up when Cormier smashed them? Just saying.

Not sure about Hendo, that was after the TRT ban announcement, but not sure about enforcement. Bigfoot was most likely though and no one had crumpled him like DC did before that fight. We also know Belfort was on TRT when he fought Jones and that both Jones and DC has suspiciously low T/E ratios and released test results.

UFC to implement new weight-management program for fighters

Could be interesting if this is the starting point for something stricter...

I remember being super suspicious of the Jones/DC t:e ratios when it happened. Some guys were saying the ratio was thrown off in the middle of hard training camps but supposedly the science said it shouldn't be. That said, they later released Weidman's ratios when he was fighting Vitor and his was super low too. My only conclusion is that either the top guys are on some stuff so good that the tests are behind the times, or else its true that the ratios get thrown out of whack in the middle of an intense training camp.

There was talk a while back about Rose growing up in the bad part of Milwaukee. While it isn't as bad as the worst parts of Chicago, here is a video on gun violence in Milwaukee.

Beats TUF winner?
Demetrious Johnson set to defend flyweight title against Wilson Reis at UFC 201

At least he's got such a promotional build up.
