Sounds like she is staying though.

That's my point. It's BS.

Good vibes in that room.

It looks like he really wants to be here, Vlade looks comfortable too. Based on his attitude and demeanor I half expect him to go to the gym for a couple of hours after that interview.

"In & out, or In or out"

Looks like foundation perspective.

I can see why he wants this job, he gets to help build and mold everything his way and seems to see eye to eye with Vlade. Seems hungry too, like he really wants it.

Good hire, Kings. Excited to see what Dave can do there.

I'm glad this is over. Like Vlade said, the stability is fixed. Now we can get back to basketball.

I don't know man, the Corliss and Lieberman situation feels funny to me. One minute Vlade is letting all assistants go, the next minute he's keeping these two.
Other than that yes I'm ready to get back to bball, which is why I think both assistant coaches should be fired.

I think I like Nancy. Lets remember, she was apparently in strong opposition to the way Karl was running things last year. She should get a major boost because of it too.

Right after that presser he was asked about it he said he misspoke. I'm pretty sure Nancy was his hire in the first place and Corliss is always that holdover type of coach you keep because he represents stability. If he wants to leave I'm sure they'd let him go. The ones that were let go were the Philly/Denver hangers on that were a part of that failed "dribble drivel" system.

I don't have a prob with Corliss/Nancy. They were more organizational hires than Karl guys IMO. Corliss is a Kings lifer who the players respect, and I would feel bad for Nancy getting one shot with the titanic that was last season

Nancy was "exiled" by Karl and I bet Corliss wasn't a fan of Karl's either.

I don't mind keeping both of them unless both of these guys played into the dysfunction last season.

In his interview with the drive he mentioned that he is looking forward to seeing Darren Collison show he is a starter in this league.

He also mention that next year is a big year for BMac.

Read into it what you will but it's likely Rondo isn't back and quite possibly was discussed when Vlade and Joerger discussed the job.

I mean think of it this way Joerger is on record saying he wants more ball movement and defense as a focus. That couldn't be more opposite of Rondos game.

On top of that, Rondo is a pain in the ass to coach.

It's not unreasonable to think that the actual talent on the roster was discussed during the interview. And if it was, I am guessing Rondo was not spoken about favorably by Joerger.

Glad to hear Rondo is going to be out. He's going to have to revamp his whole game moving forward if he wants a place in the league.

I have no idea where things stand on Rondo, but I doubt Joerger is coming with any solid opinions as of yet.

One thing I hope they get on board about is Cuz' conditioning. I didn't realize how out of shape he was towards the end of the year until I started checking out some video lately. When you compare him to the year before he was probably a good 25 pounds heavier this year. He was in tip top shape at the start of 14/15 and this year he certainly didn't take his conditioning seriously. No wonder his feet are bothering him.

Playing for team USA had something to do with how in-shape he was the year prior. Could be his being out of shape was a direct cause from the foot issue?

Maybe, and him packing on the weight is only going to make it worse.

Right it's like Fat Bastard, he eats because he's fat and he's fat because he eats.

If Boogie's foot was a problem I could see why he'd slack on cardio. As a result it could make the foot worse by carrying more weight. He should have shut it down and had the procedure during the season.

Hey guys (I know long time!) I have been following now and then, but more lately since the coaching search. Has Dave at least indicated his staff as yet, or he awaiting to see what Memphis will do?
