I'm just going to say it - we should win this game. Nothing in this series tells me that the Heat should beat us at our home in this moment. Let's not make it seem like a desperate team isn't going to play their life out on their home floor, with home cooking refs, to push the series one more game. We've done well after losses, and I expect us to be favoured for that reason. Everything seemed much worse a few weeks back heading into game 7 against Indy, given the extra nerves and also the egg we laid in game 6.

Things happened tonight that haven't happened all series, like Joseph blowing layups and our bench sucking hard. And don't underestimate how huge our crowd is. There's a reason we play so much better at home than on the road (much like the Heat do, which is why tonight wasn't a surprise). Events like game 5 (Norm/Bismack crazy dunks to light the crowd on fire) in both series only happen in home arenas when they feed off the crowd.

This series is there for the taking. It's up to our guys whether or not they will do it. I think we can, but will hold my breath until that last buzzer.

Is it possible anyone will need to go pick up their degree Sunday morning? Surely not. For the kids, Imagine how furious you'd be if you logged into Real GM Sunday morning and the headline was "Lowry Flies to Villanova to Accept Honorary Doctorate". That's what it was like finding out Vince was flying to his graduation on gameday morning of Game 7 in 2001.

I'm curious to see what the response to this super small ball from Spo will be.

I think I'd continue to go traditional, but have Biyombo stay back and protect the paint. I don't see Winslow, a rookie, beating you on jump shots in an eastern conference semi-final.

You can't roll out the red carpet for straight line drives again. The help isn't there when Biyombo is pulled out. It's either that or scramble like hell with defensive rotations.

Patterson and Carroll need to be on point from 3 point range. We did not stretch the floor at all today because of poor shooting. Knock a coupe down and it's a different game.
