Not looking forward to the emotional roller coaster tomorrow. 1 game decides whether this season was a success or not. Hard watching these boys grow up. Gl.

Who gets to decide what is truly a success or not? We get over the voodoo hump of being first round road kill and go 7 games in the second round and that isn't a relative success? We advance but we are royally crushed by Lebron in the ECF indicating how "close" we thought we were yet still find we are still so far away? Isn't that also a bitter pill version of "success"? The real success should be judged on how we find a competitive gear with the elite teams in the playoffs. Teams who have coaching and players that are always there. We have been up and down and on the edge with good teams but those teams cannot be described as elite.

Miami if they win will say: Wade's back and a true HOFer. If they lose they will say they were without Bosh and Whiteside. Quite frankly without Bosh and Whiteside we really are trying to lose this series. If we win, and we should win, all the media and talking heads will say here comes LBJ children prepare to be spanked.

I guess, at this point in the team's development it's not that you win, it's how you win. You're almost expected to beat a team like Indiana and Miami, based on numbers and regular season success. But it's the manner in which this team has performed to get us to a 7th game against a team, which statistically could very well have been considered the 6th seed instead of the 3rd seed. You just never know what you're going to get from this team from game to game in the playoffs. We are seeing epic blowouts and repeated failure to sustain a high level of play, leading to us blowing huge leads...turning extremely winnable games in nail-biters, in the end.

I have no idea which Raptors team we will get today...and it's frustrating to watch. Clearly we are not on the level of Cleveland, GSW or OKC because they will impose their will and jump on you...and never let up. This team is missing that.

Remember when we lost that series when Vince's shot clanked? The organization thinking they were on the cusp signed all the core to big deals. Then age, injuries and other plans kicked in and that group fell apart. I hope we have a much better assessment of where we are after this is all said and done.

Looking back, of our top 10 guys in minutes, 4 were 35 and older, so basically dead in NBA years. And Keon obviously had serious issues. Antonio Davis-Keon-Vince-MoPete-Alvin should have been a decent but not great 2-way starting 5 for the next couple of years otherwise, with JYD and a scoring guard we would have badly needed as the main bench guys.
