Love the result, hate the pick. I would hope we wouldn't be dumb enough to pick Simmons over Ingram.

Not sold on him being a superstar in this league, I think Ingram has way more potential.

Can you imagine the shouts of conspiracy if we won the first pick?

This league is run by superstars....take the best shot at a superstar.

Think out of the box and trade Butler to 76-ers for Noel, 2nd and 4th ;) :D

We should ask for their entire starting lineup and next year's picks while we are at it :D

I'll take the pick and leave the rest of the team to them ;)

Honestly, I'm not enamored with him or Ingram. To me, Simmons has a higher floor because of the skills he has. Ingram, for his nice shooting ability and length also should've dominated a whole lot more. Simmons gets all the scrutiny because he was more highly touted, but if he weren't in this draft, I feel Ingram would be more exposed.

We're gonna win the lottery. And the NBA is gonna pay for it. Believe me.... And it's gonna look good.

I imagine it would/will be like every year when someone shouts conspiracy.

The oilers "lottery" three straight years in hockey. Cleveland has won the lottery four times between 2003-2014 including a three in four year run. Or how about Orlando running the Shaq and Webber drafts.

If the Bulls happen to win the lottery, which they won't, I don't want to hear from those lunatics.

I predict that the first 4 picks are from teams in the east, and the #1 pick going to Boston.

It is time for Jerry to use his connections in the NBA draft office. Didn't he say he will use all resources to improve the team?

The other thing is you don't want Boston to get that Brooklyn pick as a top 2 pick. Bump Brooklyn out of the top 3 and help them out to not be embarrassed. They already lost the chance to get Lillard. A trade like what Boston did with Brooklyn looks like Billy King was drunk when he made that trade. It should never have happened or approved.

In the crazy chance that Bulls move up, I'm all about Ingram (1/2) or Hield (3). Or a trade down a couple spots to get Hield+. I like me some Rose-Hield-Jimmy backcourt and think in a year, building around Hield+Jimmy+Barnes would be a pretty solid core.

In the best case scenario, get the #3, swap along w Dunleavy/Snell to Minny for #5+Dieng, draft Hield. Max out Barnes using the Fred/Doug/Gar connection.

PG: Rose-Moore-Hield
SG: Moore-Jimmy-Hield
SF: Jimmy-Dougie
PF: Barnes-Niko-Taj-Portis
C: Dieng-Felicio-Portis

Or potentially deal Taj and resign Noah. You also have Holiday able to come in at G. If you want, consolidate by dealing from the Dougie-Niko-Portis-Taj group to upgrade at backup PG. Or just roll for a year and go into the '17 offseason with $30M in Taj/Rose contracts cleared, the cap going up, and a 2-3-4 of Hield/Jimmy/Barnes.

Watch us get #5 and the tops 4 picks look like this already-

1) Simmons
2) Ingram
3) Heild
4) Dunn

What to do then......?

do not want to draft another Dragon, I think we're still waiting on the last one to be eligible for a buy out

I'm scared that with Gasol and likely Noah gone, we're gonna go for size wherever we pick....

for sure, can't wait, love this thing and the month of speculation before the actual draft.

We can't get #5. It's either top 3 pick or #14.

Anybody able to run a scenario where the Bulls end up with a top 3 and the Kings pick?

Only way we end up with 5th pick is through trade

I really want to see changes with the draft lottery. I don't like how the whole process is done in private, why do this? This make me think they rig the draft and do whatever they want. If they want to show the winner last they can always make every team have a random letter from A-N(14 teams),then just do the ping pong balls live with letters without revealing which letters the teams are,and at the end show who won the same way from last to first.
