Said Salley: ” I think he could be the future … I think he needs to get out of Minnesota. He and Wiggins need to get out of Minnesota.”

OKC is nowhere.
Yet somehow people have heard of KD, and Westbrook.

Oh I agree entirely, I just find it mystifying that if it was relevant some pundits seemingly get off on seeing guys abandon those markets for bigger cities.
It's ****ing weird...

Some of the other California implants can chime in on this, but I've noticed something in my years bouncing between both coasts. People who grew up and have only lived on a coast have very narrow perspectives. Southern California natives I'd put it at almost brainwashing levels. I've heard dumb statements so many times. "Why would you want to live anywhere else?" "SoCal has literally everything you would ever want." "Other people just wish they could live here."
It's really ridiculous. People out here can't even conceive that there are other places that are superior in many ways.

LA is awesome. Just too expensive and crowded.

Who are these KD and Westbrook that you speak of?

Yeah I'm sure it's awesome (more so for a pro athlete) and worth a good visit (which I plan to do when I find the time), and I don't even mind the crowds. I just think I'd have a hard time with the traffic and distances living there.
