Whats evryones thoughts if we promote AG?

I wouldnt be that upset to be honest.

Obviously I want Vogel more but he only way hes coming to orlando would be on a massive contract. Not sure moneys enough for him. Can see him going to New York.

AG wouldnt be a bad consolation though. Guys been voted best assistant coach and for continuity reasons may be our best bet if we dont get Vogel.

AG seems like a terrible nickname for him.

But I like him if we can't get Vogel or Blatt.

I'd probably become completely apathetic about the Magic.

It's not about experience, it's about ability and fit.

Skiles had experience, he wasn't good. Karl had experience, he wasn't good.

Stevens had no experience, he's done well. Bud had no experience, he's done well.

I Would not be against hiring coach AG but obviously feel that Vogel would take this team To the next level. I feel that in such a pivotal moment of RH tenure with us, he needs to go all out for the best. His job depends on it. I have no doubt AG could be a great Coach one day, but Rob won't be around to see it.

I think we need an experienced coach in all honesty JV didn't work with the core of this group not sure another inexperienced coach can do any better.

I would be all for hiring Aaron Gordon as our next head coach. Think of the minutes Mario would get.

He's my top choice. His history with Thibs and Skiles is solid, his continuity with the team the clincher.

after borrego, i've become a bit leery of long-time assistants with "leadership studies" degrees. it's kinda like reading the resume of a guy who has a stack of fancy i.t. certifications but has spent several years only working junior level positions. seems "off".
