We should throw all the offseason money we have at this guy.

I think we go after
Lin
Austin Rivers
Evan Turner
Delly
J Crawford
R Sessions

One of them will be our backup pg and someone who can play alongside reggie

Lin and Delly are the only ones that are considered remotely serviceable from a two way perspective. So we should go after them hard.

I like his game, but I'm always a little hesitant at throwing money at anyone who plays with Lebron simply because he makes everyone around him that much better

Can Delly do it for 30 minutes a night without LeBron? As far as free agents, Lin is a better option, maybe Crawford too

From what I've read Lin likes Brooklyn alot and is familiar with their new GM/management

I think it would take our entire cap space to bring Lin in

Honestly Id rather throw that 12-13M at Teletovic and hope we can find an actual serviceable vet like sessions at least as a stop gap for one more year until we get someone else

Teletovic would be deadly for us next to Dre only issue is his age

Id do 3 year 40M with the third year being a team option

Although I dont want him, I feel like Anderson may give SVG a legit shot at signing him due to their previous history

I bet all my money you haven't seen more than 3 games of Crawford this season.

Dellavedova is a restricted FA, at this point the Cavs won't get a better player, they will match any offer.

Dude come on now. Both of them guys were considered top 10 if not top 5 PF before playing with Bron. That is a terrible comparison. Now Boobie Gibson? Pavlovic?

Gosh, if that's the best we can do with our cap space, i'd much rather make a trade this offseason for a backup PF. Its not that i don't like Teletovic..I just dont want him for more than around 8M per year. Dude is a decent role player, that's it.

We don't need another stretch 4 so Teletovic is a huge NO!

Delly? He's an Aussie! Plays all out. People wanna talk about him being dirty...like he's supposed to apologise for playing all out!

The league needs dudes like Delly - great teams need dudes like Delly.

I'm of the opinion that Delly could play with RJ and could also facilitate (with SJ) for the 2nd unit

Giving Delly $13+ mil ain't smart though.

I would go after Lin being the Pistons 2nd unit struggles on the offensive end.

I don't think he is gonna work for you all that well unless he strictly play with Dre.
Delly excels at throwing lobs and finding the open man, he needs decent players around him.

How about we don't massively overpay for bench players on good teams. That strategy almost never works out.

I like his attitude (at least I would if he was in Detroit) but I can't see him excelling in Detroit as he does in Cleveland. He'd have a lot more responsibility in Detroit and I don't think he's up to it. At least not for the money he'll get.
