Yep, that's just what happens.

Nordtveit officially to West Ham as well.

BTW: Do we have a transfer thread for the smmer on the forums already?

No, I will create a 2016-17 season thread after the Cup final/Relegation games.

I just bumped and re-titled the current transfer thread. No need for a new one until that one reaches 100 pages.

How do you see his ceiling? I've seen some people compare Karius to Cech and De Gea. They were similar age when they moved to England. Dont think Karius will be as good as them, but I think he'll do a solid job like Lehmann did at Arsenal when he was there.

Not sure about his ceiling. I'm sure he'll do a good job at Liverpool, though.

Baumgartlinger for 4m is already one of the best deals of the summer. Really underrated midfielder.

Baumgartlinger is one of those hard workers every team needs. He runs like a machine, usually 12 kilometers per game. Shame we had to include that low release clause in order to resign him last year. Gonna be tough getting a replacement for him.

Yeah, it's going to be tough to find a replacement, especially after losing Baumgartlinger for hardly anything at all, especially in this market.

The relegated teams don't offer much and a guy like Patrick Erras(Nürnberg) tore his ACL a couple of months ago.
Though, maybe you could talk with Bayer about a swap of Baumgartlinger for Meffert + X amount of €.

Other then that guys like Gondorf(Darmstadt), Prömel(KSC) could be interesting but it's probably best for you guys to look somewhere outside of Germany.

Adler in Kicker's Elf des Jahres?

Didnt people here slag me off earlier this season when I said he was back to being one of the best GKs in Germany?

@Foye:
Mainz have signed Jhon Cordoba for €5.5m.
Konstantin Rausch will join Cologne from Darmstadt.

Also, given that Twente Enschede was relegated due to financial problems, there are a couple of interesting players available like Hakim Ziyech.
Maybe you could find a replacment there.

BTW: Eberl has confirmed that there's an offer on the table for Granit Xhaka but that both clubs are still negotiating about the transfer fee.
Most newspapers are reporting it to be somewhere in between €40 - €50m.

Shockdiagnose für Frankurt-Profi Marco Russ - Werte nach Dopingprobe weisen auf Tumorerkrankung hin.

Sad news. Disgrace if Frankfurt let him play in the Relegation-games.

Why? Seems like he wants to play and doctors say he can play.

Still terrible news, though.

What is wrong with all of Hamburgs sports clubs No_20?

HSV is not exactly in good financial shape.
HSV Handball done.
Hamburg Freezers done.

A city like Hamburg should theoretically be able to run profitable 1st league clubs in football, basketball, handball and ice hockey, no?

Not a coincidence that both shut down after the Olympics referendum.

I still can't understand why they voted no. Would've been a great thing for sports in Hamburg and Germany. But the referendum happened right after the Paris attacks and it obviously made people afraid I guess.

"Ich finde, der Fußball darf nicht hinhalten für irgendwelche Inszenierungen." Rene Weiler über die Erkrankung von Marco Russ.

Horrible, Swiss tw*t. Really hope Frankfurt beat them on Monday.

That was completely unnecessary. The same for Schäfers statement after the game about Russ, and that you´re not able to play if you are really sick. What a piece of **** person.

If the BILD has the information, they use it before anyone else does. You can´t prevent it. That´s business and not staged.

Didnt think Nürnberg would get a result in Frankfurt. Now they just need another one at home. Scoreless draw is all it takes.
