LETS GET MELO!

Post#1 » by walk with me » Thu May 19, 2016 2:47 pm

Another mans trash is another mans treasure....

The knicks are in total disarray and there's no way that he wants to stay there for the remainder of his contract. What would we have to do to pull this type of trade off? I think this is the type of thing that could put our team back in the mix for a championship.

Maybe it's totally impossible considering we're about to give whiteside big money and bosh has a max

We'd have to trade away to much for him unless the Knicks wan't to just get rid of him so they can rebuild. But I can't see a way for us to get him without compromising our young core.

He's just not worth it

Currently, the only plausible vet trades out there would be guys like Wes Matthews, if he could return to pure 3-and-D form in a lesser role here it would be nice but even he's got too much McSob in him. High volume guy that use to be known for defense, would be nice alongside Goran with less minutes/touches but would cost Goran and half our cattle

Not worth it

Melo wants to say, he said that million times, he has his business in New York, and loves being there. Phil recently looked in his eyes and said that he is part of the long term plans of the team.

Melo's asking price is way too high. He'd fit in well in the "Booty Joe" role for us, but we'd have to give up the whole damn farm for him.

Let Winslow start so he can start dunking on fools again.

He is over the hill and making more money than Bosh. I don't know why people are so desperate to build treadmill teams.

Maybe it's totally impossible considering we're about to give whiteside big money and bosh has a max

I'm all in for Melo just as soon as his contract gets bought out by the Knicks and we can sign him for veteran's minimum. Great idea, walkwithme!

That's a beautiful job, maroko.

I wouldn't get too bummed about the reception of your posts by some. We are living in a transformative time and generations are wildly opposed. Your skills are important. You are creating content and that's a big deal. Artists are always detested until they are celebrated though.

Curiously it may be your art form and not the words or message itself that pisses them off. The good news is that it will change, because people will conform.
