Volland to Leverkusen for 20 mil. Not sure he is worth that sum given the season he has had.

Leverkusen's team is ridiculously good. They should definitely challenge Bayern and Dortmund next season with that team.

I'm not sure about that.
Nürnberg looked really overwhelmed and was hardly ever able to do anything going forward, while still given quite a few chances to Frankfurt.

I'd wait before the end of the transfer window to make any predictions.
No one knows if they'll be able to keep Hernandez and they're also just one Toprak injury away from trouble at centre back.

How is Leverkusen ridiculously good? Are we living in the same world?

They went on a little bit of a hot streak to finish the season once they were eliminated from Europe but that should not make you forget the first 9 months of the season.

Leno
Jedvaj - Tah - Toprak - Wendell
Kramer - Kampl
Bellarabi - Calhanoglu - Brandt
Volland(if not Hernandez)

That's a top class starting XI. And their bench is decent as well.

Thats not a top class starting XI.

Defense has weaknesses. Toprak is shaky, Tah not the fastest one, Jedvaj not a real FB, Wendell a hothead.

Kampl is not a top notch playmaker. Kramer runs a lot but not always in the right direction.

Bellarabi has poor IQ and Brandt is still a kid. Volland hasnt played particularly well this season either and Calhanoglu needs to prove he is a real playmaker.

Leverkusen have done a solid job of acquiring a couple more proven players now rather than going for 20 y/o's.

Also Aranguiz will most certainly be a starter. He is better than both Kampl and Kramer.

Leverkusen is still in pretender position and I doubt it will change. Especially if they are forced to sell some of their starters.

Hopefully Bayern does the business tonight. Would be a ideal end to an unbelievable era(for Bayern and for German football) with Guardiola in charge.

A gentle reminder to the BVB-fans here that Guardiola doesnt lose to Dortmund when it matters. And you've lost 3 straight major finals in the last 3 seasons.

Come on Bayern.

How in the world was it an unbelievable era for Bayern?

Ah, I understand. Appointing Guardiola was the end of the unbelievable Heynckes era which lasted for a year.

In more important news...SC Sand getting robbed by the refs in the only female football game I watch every once in a while. Shouldve been a penalty for Sand and Wolfsburg should've received a red, too.

Sokratis has done absolute laymen's work in this game. Best player on the field for Dortmund.
