I know the Liverpool fans here will disagree, but Sheffield Wednesday deserves to be in the PL. Hull is just so pointless. Pointless ground, pointless city, pointless manager.

Don't really agree about Hull, but I'm very fond of Sheffield Wednesday. They're one of the first teams I saw Spurs play at WHL when I was a youngster. Think it was 3-2 on the day. Fond memories. The Andy Sinton derby. Paolo Di Canio.

Hull's been up multiple times and they dont offer anything to the PL. Just a typical yo-yo club. Nothing special about their ground and Steve Bruce is awful.

With Villa and Newcastle now down and Forest and Leeds not even close to promotion I think it would be good to have a historic club back in the big time.

What they 'offer' the PL isn't nearly as important as you seem to think it is. Football clubs are transient, Leeds and Forest had their time and have failed to offer anything since. That doesn't mean I wouldn't like to see Forest promoted again at some point, but they will need to do it on merit and not club stature.

They might have interesting histories and fanbases but that doesn't guarantee that they will offer anything more to the PL than Hull would. At the end of the day, the present and future are the only things that are of true significance.

The future is an illusion that you shouldn't get too hung up on.

Foresight and prediction are valuable virtues in football, particularly at the upper end of management. Shortsightedness is what has caused big clubs like Villa, Newcastle and Leeds to plummet in the first place. The future is an illusion, but planning with it in consideration is basic pragmatism.

Of course, it's difficult to accurately plan without studying the past too, but in the context of clubs with lots of history that are now struggling, they can't rely on past glories to propel them back to the top. Nor are they owed any favours thanks to those past glories.

Football for me is all about traditions and fans.

Hull City Tigers. Come on. That's rugby, not football.

Mourinho, Guardiola and Klopp all in the same league.

Sky are probably already lubing up for the mass media wank off next season.

Dont say you arent looking forward to the next years in the PL with all these top managers coming in.

I would probably say the next season is the most exciting in the history of Premier League.

There's no hurry, the league threads are not normally made until July. I'll make it after the playoff final, though.

So how's the Mou timeline going to work now -
2016/17 United are contenders
2017/18 United win the title
2018/19 United are poop, Mourinho starts being a bigger ass than he normally is and gets fired.
