Jaguars just had their first OTA practice. Few notes:

Fowler looked very good to Bradley.
Ryan Davis is moving to a LB/DE hybrid.
Neal Sterling is moving to TE from WR.
Luke Joeckel played some Guard today.
ARob, Amukamara, and Armbrister were held out of practice for injuries.
Marks and Miller also did not practice today.
Jalen Ramsey is meeting with Dr. Andrews today for his knee.
Myles Jack cannot attend until his graduation.

@JohnOehser Jaguars RT Jermey Parnell sustained nondisplaced fractured hand in OTA Monday. Will participate in some individual drills in OTAs.

And a bit of good news (kinda)

@AdamSchefter Jaguars 1st-round pick Jalen Ramsey underwent surgery to repair meniscus in right knee, but expected to return by training camp, per source.

Looks like Jalen will only be out 6 weeks instead of 6 months.

Even though these aren't padded practices, the media guys watching camp have been gushing over Fowler.

Fourth round pick Sheldon Day was on the radio today and they asked him which player from OTAs has blown him away and he immediately signaled out Dante Fowler. Said something to the effect that people should not be able to bend off the edge like he has been.

Patrick Omameh apparently started 14 games for the Bucs two years back and started 9 for the Bears last season. Looks to be serviceable depth at both G and T. Definitely need it with Beachum, Parnell, and Bowanko all banged up.

A lot of guys are going to be getting some huge paydays in the next year or so.

On a side note, the forgotten WR on the team - Marqise Lee - has apparently had a bunch of "WOW' moments at camp and finally looks healthy. Having him live up to his potential could make this offense scary good.
