damn..

too bad joe isn around pistons anymore bc drummond is a problem and we couldve gotten bismack from free agency and then flipped drummond for #1 pick at least..****

LMAO!

Seriously? This is funny!

Whats funny is what if drummond can never become a great free throw shooter. Whats funny is your stuck with a maxed out player who cant play in the 4rth quarter in the playoffs.

now thats funny

hmm...

lets all hope 5 year from now drummond can make free throws

or else no one will really be laughing anymore

and besides I'll take an elite defensive center over drummond any day.

did you forget ben wallace or rodman?

if toronto ends up beating cleveland itll be bc of biyombo.

and as of now, drummond sitting on the bench in the 4rth quarter means biyombo is outplaying drummond in the playoffs as a center

:D

I honestly think you're trolling so Imma let you be

In all truth, I didn't see the rise of Steven Adams and Biyombo to be a thing this playoff series.

Adams is honestly the evolution of the center position that fits this new era of pace and space. He just hustles hard and always sets the meanest screens while playing great team defense all around. He also has a knack for passing too. Bismack is just pure hustle and defense which is very reminiscent of a poorman's Ben Wallace.

At 63% in the regular season Biyombo is practically Ray Allen at the line compared to Drummond. Dre's FT must be resolved. Either via rule changes, or improvement in the off season. With the current rules, at 36% its too easy to just remove his impact by repeatedly fouling him until the 2 minute mark. It is completely ridiculous to insinuate Biyombo is better though, even if he has undoubtedly played really well for Toronto in this series.

So yeah. Remember a few years ago when everyone was calling Russell Westbrook a choking ballhog who was unfairly trying to steal the spotlight from Kevin Durant and hurting his game?

Me neither.

Remember people throughout the season trying to claim Curry was a better offensive player than MJ and that this Warriors team is the greatest team ever?

Really am wondering if all those regular season wins are also taking a toll on gsw.okc are playing great, but gsw just looked gassed while okc look to have amped up the energy.

That's the exact story some delusional Warrior fans are pushing but here is where it falls apart

Curry has played in SEVEN games, Westbrook has played in FOURTEEN games these playoffs

OKC took out the Spurs winning two games at San Antonio where the Spurs went 43-1 all year

But but but Curry is better than MJ and these Warriors would destroy the 95-96 Bulls

What a load of garbage for real

So glad Draymond shittt the bed tonight

Still had to do something too - just look at this scum bag

I miss our Piston style of play sooo much.

Good to know you miss us sucking.

The Warriors can't afford to play that sloppy against a good team. That second half was just poor basketball -- the Thunder didn't even shoot that well, but it was good enough against all those turnovers.

Right,we will see a whole different beast the next game.I also think it was a good thing they lost that 1st game, will make them tighten everything down.

That small-ball sh*t was a one-hit wonder and OKC is taking advantage. The Thunder will go to the championship and sweep the Cavs, just watch.

Now can we please stop be satisfied with 1st round exits, Orlando Magic offensive schemes and get back to Piston basketball?

Except OKC also plays small ball some of the time, with Ibaka at center and Durant at PF -- one of the ways they beat the Spurs, by abusing their old and slow-footed front line.

They're going big against GS because the Warriors don't have enough healthy, reliable bigs playing competently.

Ignorance is bliss.

Pretty sure Ibaka and Durant have played a lot these past 2 games together. I think it's been their best lineup against GSW.

They've blown GS off the floor with the Ibaka, Durant, Roberson, Waiters & Westbrook line up dude.

If memory serves they played Kanter a hell of a lot more against the Spurs

Pharaoh is correct, statistically that has been by far OKC's best lineup in this series.

And let's be clear, nobody is/was "content" with a 1st round exit team. We were happy to make it to the playoffs after watching an awful display of basketball for most of 7 years, and happy that this team looks to have a legitimate direction and competent leadership for the first time in a while (I like to pretend the Joe D that built the 03-04 team and the Joe D afterwards are two different people)

Kinda are. One had 100% full support from ownership, the other not so much, lol.

Ummm no you were wrong.

You said OKC beat the slow footed aging Spurs by going small - they didn't! They beat them by playing Kanter more - so they went BIGGER

You then said they're beating GS by going big - wrong again since it's the small ball line up you mentioned doing the vast majority of the damage

Your general point was correct but your specific details were craptacular
