Talk about unexpected. The Raptors success would also make teams that are borderline good think they have a chance at winning. Lots of bad contracts to be had because of it.

If we get the Thunder/Raptors in the finals I think Toronto wins the championship :D

God I hope it doesn't come to that. Like Toronto. But, I'm not sure I like their chances. God help me if OKC wins the Chip.

Wait, I thought you lived in AZ, but for some reason were a Seattle fan? But I guess you are originally from Seattle?

I'm rooting so bad for Thunder.... gotta bring the Warriors a peg or two down, their heads are MASSIVE.

I really think Okafor is on the board. If Bender is taken, I would do the 4th for him or Knight and later picks.

I'd definitely do that. I rate Okafor higher than Bender

Seattle born & raised. Grew up a diehard Sonics fan. Lived in Arizona at one time. But, moved back to the Seattle area. Still follow the Suns from a distance. Hate hate the Thunder. As most Seattle fans do. Holding out hope they choke & Durant jumps ship. ;)

Oh, ok..makes more sense. Because I am a Chargers fan, but only lived in SD a brief time period and no longer live there, so if they moved to LA I would still be a fan. It would kind of suck pulling for an LA team having pulled against the Lakers, Clips, and to a lesser extent the Dodgers and LA Kings. But I am so vested as a fan that I couldn't just pick another team.

I'm actually an OKC fan...second favorite team..my mom actually lives there so is a big fan. I kind of liked the Sonics too though.

It's totally different (fandom), when your attached to a city. I have no ties to Oklahoma. It's not even the Sonics anymore. Love basketball. But, will always have a strong dislike for that ownership group (that stole our team) & franchise going forward. I'm still bitter about it. That likely won't ever change.

Yeah, now that I no longer live in Phoenix I don't know if I'd still follow them if they moved or not, particularly if I liked all the players. It would be hard to just pick another team, and if they were still the Suns it would be easier, but if they changed names it would be strange. Of course if Sarver still owned them I might be better served to jump ship then because they are unlikely to ever go anywhere with him owning the team. If a new owner bought them I'd probably be grateful.

Ideally a new owner buys them anyway, because I doubt they would go anywhere.....unless Bill Gates offered him a crazy price to bring a team to Seattle.

Karma had been catching up to Clay Bennett. Has he finally been absolved of his treacherous sin?

Clay Clay is a very hated man among Sonics fans. Along with our previous owner who sold the team to him (Howard Schultz). Schultz was a pos owner. Ran the team into the ground & sold to the highest bidder (OKC group). Then Clay lied about wanting to keep the team in Seattle. But, in reality couldn't wait to bolt to Oklahoma as expected. Not exactly my favorite person in the world.

Chris Hansen, the same guy who tried to buy the Kings & move them to Seattle. Is still looking to buy & move a team. Seattle has become the LA of the NFL.

Warriors forgot how to play defense this series. It's sad really.

I still have my Seattle Supersonics Durant jersey lol, got it on eBay years ago... looks great.

They have to come back and bring the same jerseys.

Loved the Super Sonics vs Suns rivalry.

Okay Westbrook is Westrbrick no longer, I will shut up now. OKC is on another level entirely and I don't see how the Dubs can conceivably win three in a row (two on the road again). Doubt they even push it to 6 if this all the heart they have, but playing Oracle should be a big advantage. I feel like even the greatest jump shooting team is bound to come down to earth/regress to league median on some nights

Dunno bout that, they played defense, but Curry guarding a player like Westbrook got him exposed.
Curry is tired and his shot is off when he is tired.... Westbrook has his extra tank of energy and its amazing to watch.

The Thunder has exposed Warrior's small front court though.... seeing Ibaka rip rebounds away from Green off the rim is evidence of that.
Also Barnes has short reach and he cant bother Thunder's front court defensively.

But, kudos to Thunder.... had they played like this all season, they would of been a 60 win team. But its obvious they were coasting and playing on 4th gear.... beating Spurs and now controlling Warriors show they have elevated to their full potential.

The Thunder's defense is amazing...

Game 5 will be interesting though... how better can the Thunder play?
Durant 26 points, Westbrook 36 and triple double... Roberson 17 points 11 rebounds and 5 steals....

Thunder cant allow Warriors a sniff and go to Game 7.... they need to close it off in Game 5 or Game 6 tops.

He still have about 4 or 5 plays that make you say WTF... but his energy is super human... he's just like on TURBO mode all game...

Return to Phoenix Suns
