Kind of shows how fragile that team really is. Not to say that they are actually fragile relative to the rest of the league, but they don't seem particularly well equipped to handle even a minor injury to either Curry or Green. You would think for as dominant as they were in the regular season that Curry's injury wouldn't be that big of a problem, but they have seemed completely outclassed against OKC. Maybe I'm not giving enough credit to Durant/Westbrook and it has more to do with them.

for me, Curry is everything for them... if he can't play well, it is hard for them to play the top echelon teams...

This injury talk is bogus. Yeah he doesn't look like regular season Steph, but we've seen this in the playoffs before. Curry is just up against another team that's bigger, more physical and they can't run away from with 3s so their able to body him all game. He's getting out worked, burned and making dumb decisions all while hiding on defense all game. Everyone has weaknesses and his is physicality and size.

yes, you have seen this in last year's playoff... but this season, Curry arguably is the most improved player, has been video game like in shooting...and his energy on defense, rebounding, stealing were equaly impressive all season long until his injury in Houston

I'm not saying that OKC is only winning because of the Curry injury, but I don't think Curry is quite 100% and it probably is affecting Golden State. I don't think OKC would be having their way with them so easily if the injury didn't happen.

You should give more credit to their head coach. Kerr has been outplayed by Donovan.

KD Or Westbrook have been hurt every year in the playoffs since they made it to finals. People were just sleeping on OKC. I didn't think it was likely, but the fact that they have put it together in the playoffs isn't shocking. (Golden State can still comeback as well.)

Not only is he the best player on that team but he's also the best player in the entire NBA.

If you only had 70% of the best player on any team it'd have an impact. The fact he's the best in the game increases the impact significantly.

Draymond Green has been brutal the past two games. I think his awful play is equally a factor. He allows Steph to play off the ball. I also feel like they need to have Steph guarding Wesbrook as little as possible.

a lot of those picks dont make sense. they shouldn't let the media vote on these things, they are too biased.

All NBA Teams announced

Image

First thing, sucks for Anthony Davis. He just lost out on 25? mil.

Second, the fact that DeAndre Jordan is 1st team All NBA is ridiculous. 20 years from now kids will be talking about the amazingly fantastic DeAndre Jordan who was 1st team All NBA and 1st team All Defense. Will there be a thread on Realgm in 2035 in the player comparisons "DeAndre Jordan or Patrick Ewing?", with a bunch of kids talking about Jordan's advanced stats and his 1st Team All NBA nod?

So much for a Lin/D'Antoni reunion.
