Love/Irving blazing at home.

There's just on epossession on semi-transition where Irving finds him WAAAAY too late under the basket, James gets doubled, then kick-out to JR Smith for a long three

Yeah I was like :banghead: :banghead: but JR bailed Kyrie out

If he had his 13/14 jumpshot he'd be a GOAT level off-ball player this year.

I know right

If he had his jumpshot, he'd be averaging 28ppg on 57% again

Part of it's less than stellar effort from Toronto D, but he created a TON of space for Kyrie on his first few jumpers.

LeBron flying from the weakside to help at the rim. Thank god I was just overreacting lol

It's a joy to watch this man off the ball.

If he only had a non-worst ever level shooting from outside the paint.

Just beautiful basketball. Delly is worth every penny he asks for because he has been the first teammate Lebron has ever had that could do this with him.

147 ORTG for the Cavs thus far, and 78.9 DRTG.

From what I've seen, it's mostly effort level on D that's been the difference - from Love, JR, Irving especially.

Did they just not give a **** in Toronto? There's no big changes to playcalls (except they tried to abuse LeBron on the elbow AGAIN) or defensive strategy (playing DeRozan tighter around screens I guess)

This is a little out of place, and not sure he has his own thread, but Kevin Love is the second guy to play with LeBron who has had his rebounding numbers drop pretty harshly, despite a big drop in responsibility.

I never did like the idea that guys get a pass for certain things when they take on a huge scoring load because "They have to save their energy for offense." It seems like a lot of guys effort level on the boards and on defense goes up a LOT with more and more touches. I know they are asked to play away from the basket a lot more, but it sucks to see someone like Love go from leading the league in rebounds by a wide margin, to just being above average. Even Bosh to a lesser extent, has seen his boards come down a lot. I'd think with more energy, you should see these guys hitting the glass way harder.

155 now. I doubt it keeps up for 48 minutes because they'll slow down in the 4th if its a blowout. But they'll be floating right around 120 after tonight barring something disastrous.
