Since this game is over, Lebron should use the 3rd quarter to see if he can get his jumper back on track.

I never did like the idea that guys get a pass for certain things when they take on a huge scoring load because "They have to save their energy for offense." It seems like a lot of guys effort level on the boards and on defense goes up a LOT with more and more touches. I know they are asked to play away from the basket a lot more, but it sucks to see someone like Love go from leading the league in rebounds by a wide margin, to just being above average. Even Bosh to a lesser extent, has seen his boards come down a lot. I'd think with more energy, you should see these guys hitting the glass way harder.

With Love at least, some of it is attributable to improving his positioning on D to actually challenge the shot, rather than be in position for the rebound. I don't know his DRB/ORB splits, or the team's net DRB/ORB with/without him, so that might be worth looking into.

Bosh's in a similar position because he used to blow up so many pick and rolls away from the basket, leaving someone else to collect the missed shot.

Still though, you're right - maybe they get less garbage rebounds too, but it's not like their teammates' RPG increased significantly

Love the 0 TO's to go along with the 6 assists.

Random question in light of LBJs road win streak on the line in game 6. How often does the winning team in a series win at least one road game? Interested in seeing the percentages on this.
LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

Off hand I know Bulls vs Pacers in 1998 went 7 with the home team winning each game. For a series that late in the playoffs that is the only one that sticks out where neither team won on the road. I can't remember any other that went 7 with no road wins unless you want to say Boston vs Atl in 2008 and Boston vs Cleveland in 2008 off hand.

I'm assuming the percentage would be extremely high. How many 7 game series have had the home team win every game? Only ones I can remember off the top of my head are the Celtics-Hawks and Celtics-Cavs.

This is the best Lebron has ever looked passing the ball to me. Pinpointing guys all over the floor, not being too fancy just consistently brilliant.

He heard you, then took a stupid heat check.

I really think his jumpshot is solid when he's squared up and getting into his proper motion. The problem is that he's lost his discipline and breaks form way too often

It is also solid in blowouts as is everyone's since there is no pressure to make it.

I agree with this. That last three he made had good form, balance, and follow through - basically looked like his Miami jumper. The heat check he took on the next possession... did not.

Westbrook entered the night leading the playoffs at 28.8 with Lebron at 28.2. Any estimate as to how much he closed the gap tonight? Thanks in advance. He is playing on a very high level right now. I hope those late 3's start to unlock a bit of confidence in his jumper, now would be a great time to suddenly find his shot for a stretch

Can't say until we have a final possession count for tonight's game, but it should be between 28.5 and 28.9

I don't know if it means much, but Lebron's scored between 20 and 29 points in every game so far this postseason.
