Beautiful turnover and subsequent and 1 against speights...

Make that two "and 1's" vs speights after he missed the rebound. Ugh guy is awful

That's the problem with plus minus. It doesn't measure an individuals contributions.

If he doesn't fall down and turn the ball over and foul the guy on the subsequent layup...... or miss the rebound and foul the guy on the subsequent layup.... or let his man drive right past him and not rotate on the open 3 point shooter you probably win.

Wouldn't know that from looking at +/- A stat that has been widely discredited by everyone since it's introduction

I'd agree but you blamed a loss solely on him when he got scored on in the past. So now that's apparently irrelevant when he wasn't scored on.

And you realize there's 30 teams. This would be a concern if they played GSW 81 times. They don't. He demolished the Mavs and Spurs. its a bad matchup. Get over it.

I just don't see any reason to move Kanter. Adams/Kanter is deadly and is hard to stop and we can hide Kanter on most playoff bigs (starters and/or backups) and if teams go small, we go small.

Because the wings aren't very good.

adams-kanter was ~+3.2pp100 this year in 220 minutes. so, not that bad, but not super-great either.

my issue with keeping kanter is that he's taking up $18mm of cap as a bonafide backup to a vastly superior overall player who needs to play 30+ minutes a game next season and beyond. we don't / can't play adams and kanter together enough to warrant kanter receiving that salary in that role. the money would be much better spent on improving us on the wing, or even a lateral or backwards move simply moving that salary to investments on the wing.

We need someone who can score in the post. Find me a lateral move that gets us that and I'll be happy. Get me a player that can be instrumental in defeating a team like this year's SAS. He proved his worth in that series alone. If not for Kanter, I'm not sure we match up too well with SAS and I'm not sure we win and have enough rest to play GS.

Nah, you don't want to try to score out of the post anymore, you can't win that way it's too inefficient.

Ball movement and shooting.

And Kanter got scored all over in game 5 i listed 9 points above.

He had an alright effort in the 1st half of g6 though. Except the late rotation and 1, and falling down turning it over leading to transition. Overall much better tho

Considering he was able to guard Curry a few possessions I'm shocked you had the gall to show up.
