LBJ ain't going to get Mike comparisons after losing 4 Finals. But still, that hypothetical Finals is an easy call. I'd root for all 15 West teams against LeBron.

I agree that LBJ winning doesn't get him back on track to being on MJ's level. But that's why I'd root for LeBron to take down the Warriors to preserve the 95-96 Bulls as the GOAT.

I've never seen so much irrational hate in a thread on here.

This thread is the only reason I'm rooting for Golden State to win it all. I'm spite-rooting. I admit it.

This thread represents the embarrassingly perfect storm of Bulls fans' insecurities: A 73 win team, led by the point guard who help make the world forget not only the current Derrick Rose, but the Derrick Rose who never sniffed the achievements of this point guard. It makes us all look bad by association. Its such a Knicks fan thing.

Unfortunately, OKC is going to win Game 6.

My first visit to the thread. Is it OK if I root for OKC because I hate the type of basketball GS plays, see a bunch of teams trying to copy it, and want the game to go back to a strategic competition rather than who can drain a shot from the farthest distance? Because I hated the GSW way before any records were being threatened or broken. I don't hate the players, or the coach...I just hate the style of play. 120-111 in a playoff elimination game smh. GSW finally took it to the rack, 20 FT's for Steph and Clay and they get a W
funny how that works in the playoffs.....

They got Westbrook and Roberson in Foul Trouble and that changed how OKC played D
They had let up earlier when Adams got in early foul trouble so GSW was always in it.

I didn't think they were gonna come in there and beat them at home anyways, that's a defending champ.
Just look at Klay Thompson - that is a dude that has decided he is gong to pick up Curry and you'll have to kill him to get him off the floor. If GSW somehow eeks this series out - THAT is the guy who will be the reason why.

Man that Game 1 looms large now....

Can't wait for the next one, what a series!

Boo f*cking hoo, dude. You don't like a thread? You don't necessarily have to post in it and can ignore it. There's loads of threads on here which are painful, or annoying, or moronic, and loads of negativity et al. But you can always just move on and disregard it. What's embarrassing is a thread in which an individual board member is called out and has insults hurled at them, because the individual prematurely labelled players as busts and despite being able to admit that they were wrong, they still receive grief.

Teach that bitch that it's not okay to flail around like that. I'm sure OKC fans would be willing to pay for the fine, someone would just have to setup a gofundme account. Hell I would even chip in

Not a big Larry Bird fan, I take it. Tough break tonight, I suppose.

I am a fan of Bird, Curry as players because of what they have done even with their relatively limited athleticism compared to a Westbrook, Durant, MJ. But, as a fan watching as entertainment, I appreciate what Durant does because he can do both of what Larry(shoot) and MJ(athleticism). That is more special to watch for me.

And, off-course, as a Bulls fan, I am tired of the GS hype. And, also, there is the arrogance of the Bay Area(I lived/worked there for a few years) as if it is the most innovative place on earth for everything(I understand the software industry part).

I want the Warriors to repeat as champions, I wish this current Bulls team had half the chemistry that Golden State posses.

So Curry after this past game was at 100%...after their game 6 loss they'll be saying he was only at 60%.

I want to see Draymond Green lose. The by product of the Warriors losing is collateral damage. I don't know if I've disliked a player in the NBA this much since Laimbeer.

Getting 73 wins and not winning makes them a joke and furthers the legacy of the 95-96 bulls.

If both GSW and Cavs make it to the finals, this might be the first time I root for Lebron to win. Even if he does get a title, he would still be nowhere near MJ's legacy. If GSW was to win, you know there will always be an endless discussion of what team was GOAT even though GSW would have taken longer to get the chip

If Lebron destroys the East and takes out the Warriors, I'm positive that the reactionary media will start having, "where does Lebron sit all-time?', with some bozos saying he's right there with Michael.

It won't mean that he will be, but those discussions will fire up again.

Agreed. I don't know how people argue that Stephen is humble as well. He's anything but.

Of course Curry isn't how he was, for me it's as plain as day.. He's still very good, but not quite as quick as we're use to seeing him. Didn't Jimmy get hurt with a similar injury and was out, perhaps longer in the regular season, came back and wasn't quite the same? It is what it is.

Yeah I hate the style of play as well. I miss post play and dont enjoy chucking. Its honestly ugly basketball. Show me athletic freaks with moves and countermoves and countercountermoves. Watching gsw play is like watching beer pong.
