2016 Clippers Video - TOGETHER AS ONE

Post#1 » by mike3 » Tue May 24, 2016 11:41 am

I miss Clipper basketball already, a rough ending to a promising season. I made these season recap. Enjoy, and always wanting feedback.

nice video, but I wouldn't characterize our 2015-2016 season as "together as one" knowing how much time Blake or CP missed time during regular season and suddenly exited from the playoffs together in the same game in a (at the time) winning series for us to come to an abrupt tailspin crash.

I hope Doc keeps this team's core together. CP3-BG-DJ-JJ are fearsome foursome when they are all present. I want to see Luc come back as our starting defensive minded SF, as well as Wes and Cole to stay. I want Pierce to retire and let Jamal walk. I could live either way if baby doc comes back or goes out to FA for his payday. many mock draft has us picking up either a point guard or Taurean Prince the SF out of Balyor who is a decent 3 and D prospect or Patrick McCaw who is another 6-7 prospect wing player. I say we play Dawson and Wilcox some goddamn minutes to give us cheap quality bench but we all know how Doc is regarding playing young players. with the second round pick, I hope we can land anybody who can contribute next season even as a 5 minute quality bench player. Doc and his FO sucks at draft and I have no faith they will come away with anything but trading assets.

all in all, watching the thunder still leading the warriors, we have a chance as long as we are healthy. whether we will be healthy or not, is another story.
ehhhhh f it.

That's why I thought it made sense to be honest. We had guys out all season but others stood up and no matter what, you're fighting for one goal together. With the Blake distraction, I think the team could've divided a bit but we stuck together. Each to their own opinion though.

This vids getting no love :noway:

nothing wrong with the video, i hate the title... can't speak for others but just saying....

and I got what you meant, just can't relate... maybe if we had passed through the first round at least... here is hoping the Thunder gets to the finals and paves the way and provide the blue print to all others in western conference teams not named warriors.
ehhhhh f it.

I have watched very little basketball after the season ended. Probably not even a full quarter if you were to combine every game. It did take me a little while to watch this one, but it is class as usual. I really do admire your work, Mike. There are people that make nice mixes, but it's really special when I know that the editor of the video knows all of the feelings, emotions, ups and downs that I go through as a fan of this team and is able to convey it in a heartfelt way.

As far as the title goes, I'm not mad at it. We didn't go as far as we had hoped, but I do appreciate the way that many of these guys rally around each other or support one another.

Surprised you wouldn't tune into the playoffs. But it is tough with the way we went out.

Really appreciate it mk. Clippers videos are more enjoyable in that we, because you are closer to it so you want to try and convey the feeling of it as you said. Thanks for the feedback.

That's what I thought, showed our character to stick together and not give up.

I had/have absolutely no desire to watch the Warriors win another championship, so I decided to not waste my time with the playoffs. I did tune into the final minutes of what may have been Timmy and Manu's last game and the last few minutes of the Cavs/Raptors series, but that's about it.
