I think if this is the matchup lue might have some trocks up his sleeve. They shouldnt do much worse than they did last year with a much stronger team
This last game got me thinking that OKC was playing near perfect D with their switches on Klay/Curry for the most part and they just kept on hitting BS 3 after BS 3 to stay in it. How the heck are the Cavs going to guard this Warriors team? I would love for the Finals to be more competitive but I just don't see the Cavs' defense standing a chance against GSW.
I wouldnt expect klay to sink 11 3 pointers every game.
How the heck are the warriors gonna stop the cavs especially with frye at the 5? There's two sides to every coin and okc has actually been kind of shabby on their initial attack, cavs dont rebound as much but have been really efficient lately. This will probably be a higher scoring series and while the cavs wont be favorites there'll still good enough to get the games close and from then on who knows what will happen. Draymond is two techs or a flagrant short of a suspension. People are almost giving the cavs the same chance vs the warriors than the raptors vs the cavs man, the disrespect is real here.
Love and Irving will be a negative in defense but if they can score well enough to offset it then how much of a problem is it. Id give the warriors if they win a 60% chance but the cavaliers are being underrated if you think that lebron with a better team will have a tougher time than he did last year. Love is looking comfortable, lebrons getting into a hell of a rhythm as an off ball player, irving is looking for dudes off the drive a little more. The cavaliers are gelling at the right time. I think this is underrated.
Besides the thunder could still win in 7 and make this hypothetical pointless.
