Since you keep asking why the 76ers want to trade him (Ive counted at least 4 posts asking the same thing), im just going to copy paste my response from your other posts.

He would take risks on any big guy that showed potential. Now that he actually has a big center that is a really good scorer, why is he so eager to get rid of him? Colangelo is not the type of person to trade a big guy for a point guard. And it is not like Noel or Embiid are sure things to do anything in the league. Okafor has shown the most potential of all three. Should it be a red flag that Colangelo is willing to trade a 20 year old scoring center?

Im sure they would rather trade Noel, but the issue is that he has more value to Philly than other teams in the league. Embiid is supposed to be everything Okafor is on offense, but a much better defender.

Colangelo was brought in stop the losing. He has a plan. He believes that adding 2 top 4 picks (Simmons&Dunn) to a core of Embiid/Noel/Saric is a better plan than staying pat with 3 young starting caliber C's.

Okay. I get it. I just find it so hard to believe the Colangelo family is ready to give up on a guy like Okafor.

You say "Give up on a guy" like they are just dumping him, which they are not. They are getting a 2nd top 4 pick in the draft, and maybe another usable piece on top of that. What the use of having 3 great young C's? Its not like you can play them all at the same time. You trade one to fill the other holes you have, and Philly's hole are massive. They really have no starting quality PG or SG or SF. Hell, they ran with Ish Smith as their PG, when we cut him from being our 3rd string.

So once again, either you keep a great player at a position where you also have two other great players, or you trade him and fix the rest of your team (#4/Knight).

I agree. I always thought their hoarding of big men at the top of the draft was so they have options down the line. Now seems like one of those opportunities for them to offload one or more of them in order to get better. If there's any player you want to hoard, it's the big men. Quality big men are hard to come by and quality young big men almost always command a steep premium. If I'm the Sixers and I could grab a big man this season who I can turn into 2 great young pieces in a season or two, why not? I wouldn't consider them trading Okafor as them giving up on him.

If i was the Pelicans, i would target Noel as i think a Davis/Noel pairing would be :droop:

Philly actually robbed them of Noel failing to disclose Jrue's medical history. That would be funny if it were to happen
