ingram better be the pick

if for whatever reason hield starts dropping, sixers need to make a move and get him as well

D'Angelo Russell vs. Ben Simmons is a worthy debate. Simmons vs. Ingram is so contrived. Nobody can build a good case for taking Ingram.

Tim Quarterman (one of Ben Simmons only two competent teammates) spoke about Ben Simmons after his workout with the Sixers.

Jimmy Chitwood never made the NBA. You're making my point for Simmons even easier

You're gong to be severely disappointed. I know you know Simmons will be the pick. Judy brace for it now.

ummm no, D'Angelo Russell vs Ben Simmons is not a worthy debate.

I'm so glad we dodged that bullet. Couldn't imagine how bad he would've done facing double teams all year. Far worse than Okafor, no doubt.

I hope people don't resent Simmons when we select him. That's the worst part about these pre-draft discussions. People developing ill-will towards their own players due to wanting to be right about what they said before the draft.

Yes, it would have been. There's a better case for Russell than there is for Ingram.

I won't resent Simmons. I don't resent Turner even though he set our franchise back seasons. He seemed like a good guy even though he couldn't shoot a lick.

nope. a lot of us were praying for KAT, and when we took Okafor, most of us jumped on his bandwagon. It is stupid to wish for a player to fail just because he wasn't the guy you wanted. Wishing for a player to fail is the same as wishing for your organization/team to fail and none of us got time for that. We just want a franchise player/superstar who can help the team achieve it's ultimate goal

Not a good analogy. After the lottery we had no shot at KAT. This year it's one or the other. We have a shot at either one.

I won't resent Simmons if he busts, even if we trade Jah away and he becomes the star I know he will be. However, I will resent the Philly media and fans who are so obsessed with getting rid of Jah to protect their boy from competition.

If Simmons fails it totally Bryan and Jerry's fault...

just ignore all of my posts from this and other threads...I FOR ONE KNEW that damn Simmons was no good...I told yahs.

but no seriously that is the silver lining of the Hinkie fiasco....now any bad things that happen, I don't have to spin as hard as I did previously. Feels good man.

Huh?? Russell vs Simmons/Ingram is not a debate at all bro....Russell is a huge disappointment, kids slow footed, poor defender, passing was very overrated. Esp for someone people were touting as the next curry. Russell shouldn't have even been a top 15 pick. Didn't TJ avg more assists than him too?

Ben Simmons will be wetting 3s also, I can feel it...he's just a common sense player, no need to settle for a 3 when you can take your man.

He's talking about if Russell were coming out in the draft this year. Hindsight is always 20/20. But with that said I still wouldn't be struggling to decide between Simmons and Russell. Easy call for me there too.

Watch at the :27 second mark. Look familiar? Also, at 1:34.

I don't see how it's a lock for Jahlil Okafor to become an elite offensive player. Right now he has awesome footwork and some really good individual scoring moves. Can't run the pick and roll, has mediocre range, thrives on pace-draining isolation post-ups. He could very well just be Spin Doctor 2.0.

Just LOL at this...Jah doesn't need to eat off pick n rolls all day to be spoon fed. This is basketball, all 5 players should be able to create their own offense, adding a pick n roll helps offense dynamically but its not a necessity. Look at Hou, they're frustrated Dwight Howard is not a pick n roll big...He doesn't need to be, you play to players strengths. There is nothing wrong with Jahlil isolating if he can take his man, I swear all y'all cats just want to play 5 PGs and launch 3s all game. Its like 2pters are wrong now.
