I can't understand why we skip the Vegas summer league. Not only is it more prestigious, but I live here so I can go to them! Seriously, Vegas is an up and coming sports town, why not try to make it a Clippers town? They held preseason games here a few years ago, but now that we have an arena on the strip, it's the Lakers that will be here twice before the season starts

LOL I have been out of work since last August! The military did a number on my knees... actually hoping to go back next month but this is why I got a degree in finance from UNLV. My job I have now is way too physical, so I am hoping to get a desk job. I've actually helped my parents out with some of their stuff and my Dad is going to be able to retire this year, two or three years earlier than he had planned. That feeling was amazing!

Sorry that was off topic. I'll bring it back around, no it was at Mandalay Bay when I went. Great seats, close enough for Ralph to ignore me as he walked past!

wow did not know. my bad for not checking up on ya bro. glad you got to help your parents retire. mine lives off of what i send them, which now i worry about how Im gonna pay for my children's college if they choose private schools instead of public.

anywho, you were there? and yeah it was Mandalay Bay, now I remember. I stayed at that hotel and had to walk a long way from the elevator to get to the arena which only had one way in and one way out, remember telling my wife this would be a disater if there was a fire. I was sitting next to a bunch of nuggets fans who were older and actually respectful, and that annoying guy who kept yelling "ball don't lie" was sitting about a half a dozen seats away from us. ( I hope you weren't that guy now I said it, lol) we really should have gotten together then man.

and as for Ralph, love him and his years with the clips but yeah, he ignores me and my wife every time we are just 20 feet away from him at the Rose Garden every year too. I'm not sure if he is just shy away from the camera or he is just used to not having any clipper fans on away games, but even when I have yelled at him to say HI or try to give him complements, he never looks at our way. my wife wanted a picture with him once but couldn't even get down to his level when we were sitting just 4 rows away from the bench( not his fault, it was the security), lol. still love him for what he has been for our team tho.
ehhhhh f it.

I believe the primary reason is because Doc spends his summers in Orlando. The Orlando league is preferred by some teams because it's strictly basketball, just a gym with no fans and less outside distractions (Vegas nightlife). Some teams do both leagues and I wish we were one of them.

A lot of it probably had to do with the lotto picks, but Clippers fans often came out and supported the team in Vegas during summer league. I think that Doc and Ballmer are doing a disservice to those fans that would attend.

To quote Ralph, "BINGO!" I didn't put two and two together.

It wasn't me, I'm not a vocal guy. I stand and clap and cheer but I don't yell at the refs, especially during preseason... and not when the beautiful woman sitting next to me was the wife of one of the refs! His son was real cool, really excited to see his Dad out there. The way she was dressed you know they make good money but you couldn't tell by the way their kid acted.

If anybody understands/speaks Russian or knows someone who can interpret, that would be cool.

From what I have gather from the various free online translators, it would seem that Sergei Bazarevich will join/assist the Clippers' coaching staff in summer league in some capacity.
