Voted maker. Sounds like he's really athletic, could probably trade down and get him, but I think he has the most upside if he hits his peak. He'd be another Australian.

I'm running to the podium to select Skal.

Wade Baldwin for me. He's the best player available.

Screw Australia. I want another Frenchman! Luwawu for me.

Taurean Prince as a darkhorse. I would be okay with Baldwin if there is a Treyd or Sabonis if you can unload Pleiss.

There actually are several good options here. Luwawu, Baldwin, Maker, Darth Vader, Ellenson... I just like Skal too much :)

Was a tough call between Skal and Maker. Went with Maker due to higher nickname upside.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

He's not a shot-taker... he's a shot-Maker! Or... Thon-of-shots-Maker

Yep, that was where my mind went first. He's also much better than Ron Baker, and on defense he's a charge-taker. When he's scoring from 3 he's a rain-maker, and when he does well with the ladies he's a thong-shaker.

Trade down. Get two picks.

If I had to select a player it would be Baldwin. But I haven't watched enough video to say he is for sure better than the guys not drafted up to this point.

What are we going to do with all those picks if we trade down? We only have so many roster spots.

I'm going to shake things up and pick Dejounte Murray. Not only does he have an incredibly high ceiling, but he can be insurance if Exum doesn't pan out, and can also replace Burks in a few years if Burks keeps getting injured. I like that Murray can play both the 1 and 2.

I want to leave with picks like 15 and 20. If trading down and putting together the second round picks means we can do that, great. If the Jazz can keep 12 and put the second round picks and Trey for a mid/late first round draft pick even better.

Went with Skal just to outvote Maker.

I went with Korkmaz, he reminds me a lot of Hezonja and if we can get that upside at 12 that's awesome.

I think I've honed in on Valentine, Skal, and Baldwin. I wouldn't be upset with Ellenson or Luwawu, but those three are by far my favorites at this point.

Thon Maker at #12 is crazy talk.

I voted for Baldwin. He seems to have the highest upside of the remaining guards. However, I would take a good long hard look at Ellenson and Skal. Between those 3 guys, you could roll the dice and take whoever's number came up and I'd be happy.

I also think Damian Jones would be a very interesting pick.

I also wouldn't hate picking Demetrius Jackson here.

I like Luwawu but don't think he's the pick at #12.

I'm not sold on Korkmaz.

I can't believe Valentine went #8 to the Kings. That pick sums up their entire franchise perfectly.

For me, it's tough. It's a Maker vs. Skal debate for an upside big along with a Korkmaz vs. Luwawu vs. Richardson debate for a scoring wing (I think Korkmaz wins that second debate).

In the end, I take Skal due to measurables, shooting touch and overall skill level. He moves quicker than Maker all over the floor. I also think you can play him as a combo-forward early in his career like a young Robert Horry, and he can hit an open 15-foot jumper anytime you need a bucket.

I like Baldwin and actually see in him some similarities to Deron Williams, but I'm not 100% certain he's a starter in this league, and I want to come away with starting-caliber talent in this draft.
