First couple of listens and not a single bar sounds forced even when Jay flips speeds up his flow and inflections...FIRE!

. I've been saying for quite a while now that Push is the closest thing to Hov in our generation. From hustle, to drug dealing, to poetic styles, so when I heard they were connecting on a collab I was eager to hear it. This Hov's best verse in at least 5 years. DJ Dahi and Push were great platforms for Hov to resurrect with. I also believe the rise of lyracism/rapgenius let Hov unleash some crazy bars. Overal, pleased at the collab.

I thought the Damn Daniel thing was a little forced but, it was still clever so I'll give him a pass on it.

Naah, he's known for staying up to date with pop culture double entendres. That line was ill. The profit/prophet job/job lines were crazy too.

Just think it's a little cringey/awkward for old man jay to be talking about a stupid meme that no one will remember in about a year but, like I said the line was clever so i'm cool with it. Yeah his double entendres are always on point though

Yeah, there's a bit of danger to using pop culture references that may or may not age well. But just in terms of whether or not you could remove that line from the song, say it as pronounced to another human being in conversation and they'd understand exactly what you're saying; it's okay.

I'd have to rack my brain to come up with one that competes. Pusha brought the best out in Jay in a way that even cats like Kendrick and Drake haven't been able to which is crazy. Jay's usually content to lose on the track, but he actually decided to hang on this one and gave a nice reminder about what he's capable of. I REALLY like this track.

I would say FAB is closest. Fab is a better overall MC and is much more consistent in delivering music that Pusha. Plus he from BK lol

I don't know bro.. Fab kinda lost me when he started talking about dog filters and Instagram. I loved Soul Tape 1/2 & Freestyle Fridays though... he lost it these past few years however.

This line was mad ill:

The paper trail is gorgeous
Cases we buries ‘em
Before Reasonable Doubt dropped, the jury hung

The triple entendre in this line is bonkers.

Jay just went over a ton of people's heads with his verse. Push's verse was just cold.

It's great to see two kingpins on the same track

Yeah, thinking of Hov's best verse in 5 years, I'm even thinking about it too.

For one, none of his raps on Watch The Throne or MCHG were close because those are simply braggadocio raps, so there's no real emphasis on skill or cadence.

Here's my rating of his top 5 verses since 2011:

1) Drug Dealers Anonymous
2) Seen It All
3) Monster
4) Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe (Remix)
5) All The Way Up (Remix)

Not even worth putting Pusha T's stuff against Fab's stuff. They've both been killing it for years consistently. Fab had his trendy phase here & there but overall dude has always been nice. Push & his brother "No" Malice been killin it since their 1st album. Re-up gang mixtapes & all.

I rock with Push more as far as recent music go but I am looking forward to that Freddy vs. Jason project he's dropping with Jadakiss. He's another one who has been consistent since forever.

I thought Heaven on MCHG was actually a really solid song

Also his We Made It remix with Jay Elec was pretty good too.

The real talk on All the Way up is cool but he doesn't cook until he gets past the marriage and lemonade references that people got gassed off of just because he was responding. This new verse rolls the money laundering theme from start to finish but links directly to his bio from before his career took off to now and blurs whether he's talking about flipping rhymes or product.

The paper trail is gorgeous; cases we buries ‘em
Before Reasonable Doubt dropped, the jury/jewelry hung

That's the type of fire I really like. You can apply both meanings to Reasonable Doubt to either Jury or Jewelry and vice versa but it always makes perfect sense.

Fab is the MOST consistent NY artist of the last 10+ years. Thats the beauty of Fab, he is able to ADAPT. He goes with the times, and gets the current world to relate, but keeps his bars ELITE. If we follow patterns, Fab was is not supposed to be as relevant as he is. Fab still brings in new fans. He has a young and older fan base. He has not lost one step off his fast ball. Fab is not even a high favorite of mine, but his skill is almost unmatched in hip hop history. His word play is of legend if you ask me. He is MUCH better MC than Pusha. Fab has waaaay more hard hitting lines than pusha. Pusha is nasty all day. I fully respect his ability, but he can't hang with Fab. Pusha T is no where near as versatile as fab is. Fabs music makes it to the masses, Pusha don't. Pusha is more a select ear than anything. fab puts out mixtape that turn into radio hits with many of the songs. Thats how good his ability is. Pusha is really a modern version of Raekwon. Raekwon invented coke raps, and Pusha Carried on the tradition as that being the MAIN theme of their lyrics. Pusher's main theme is drug dealing. Jay was a waaaay more versatile artist than that. Fab fits the mode. Pusha don't make Jams the females love. Im sorry, comparing Pusha T as the closest we have to Jay Z is very far off. I don't like everything he does myself, but the talent is level is above so many to ever spit. People lose focus cause he made a lot of rhymes for the ladies, but very few can ever hang with him ever.

Fab been around for a minute and still has not lost one step. Thats very hard for ANY MC.
