Gore would have been a really good president and Nader did cost him the election. so this election cycle i would not vote for a third party candidate if it means trump could elected and i hope you weigh that seriously too

as far as a run at the white house by a third party i think in 8 years environmental crisis is going to create enough steam to push a national green party on to the stage probably with a mix of libertarianism to form an effective coalition and i would always be willing to vote for a good candidate

sanders tapped into the base that would make that possible but the choice for a viable alternative run at the white house wont be this time. but it is coming. this was basically the start of it. you will also get some tea leafer/trump faction that splits from the republican party after trump loses. so votes will start siphoning off the two party system into something like a 3 or 4 party free for all within a decade i think

i thought he was going to but he hesitated. maybe two billionaires from NYC was a factor but i think he just didnt want to wade into the slimefest of dealing with trump. he probably would have won looking at the situation now
