I can see Murray if he believes any or all of the following things
a)He can't necessarily assume Bledsoe will stay healthy and if he doesn't, there is almost no way this team ever has a chance to rely on him as a major piece going forward, and that Knight isn't a reliable backup pg.
b)Knight is now expendable because of Booker, and that he will include him in a trade package at some point this season if possible.
c)Murray is an effective PG.
Also, Murray played PG for Triano on the Canadian team, and of course he's a 1 year Kentucky guard.
I think Brown may have moved down from 3/4 because Givony/Ford realized the Suns/Celtics don't care to meet with him, work him out, or don't seem particularly interested in him.
Of course these are all guesses.
