I really want the Cavs to win but I'm scared to believe.

Would be great if Kyrie can string together some good games and if JR doesn't have another brick fest.

Just wanted to say that I doubt Curry be guarding Irving much. He will most likely be hidden on JR smith.

what are you talking about curry in game 6 and 7 guarded westbrook,

westbrook had 4 turnovers in the 4th quarter of game 6,

curry heard what westbrook said and played some pretty solid d

come on man  :-?

Klay almost always guards Irving when we play GS. Irving destroys Curry when he's guarding him. While Westbrook is more explosive, he's not as shifty/tricky as Irving.

Klay guarded Lillard that Portland series too.

It's extremely likely they'll have Klay guarding Irving most of the series.

After witnessing the events with Choklahoma in which it was a first time I saw a clearly superior team lose a 7-game series,
I am not sure a team can be beaten with a guy like Klay that can cover a Westbrook and still have the stamina to produce NBA record
numbers. He could just do same while covering Kyrie

On a side note, curry and his look-away 3 have been good for the fans; I saw a little girl take a 3-point shot and look-away
thinking she is Curry  not quite wanting to fly like MJ but close enough

i am thinking Klay and Andre will be the two to try and slow james down

Klay gets abused by Bron in the post and just doesn't have the strength/low-center of gravity to withstand his drives (and LeBron's stiff arms lol). Klay gets muscled every time - you'll see when he gets switched onto Bron how much Bron attacks him. Interestingly enough, in the small samples I've seen Draymond Green guarding Bron, he struggles as well. Bron tends to explode past Green.

Iggy is the only Warrior who seems to be able to handle LeBron, and even then I wonder how it'll be if they can't constantly provide help since the Cavs actually have other offensive threats this year.

We all know Klay will be guarding Kyrie.
Kerr learned quickly after putting some curry on Westbrook early in the first 4 games, he recognized that as usual he could not guard Top Point Guards.
IN the last 3 games of the Choklahoma series, Klay was on Westbrook from the start! "strangely", GSW won the last 3 games

I had the same feeling but today I listened Vertical podcast where Voj had a long conversation with him and I kind of changed my mind. He seemed like OK guy.

So that means Lebron can easily just beat arguably the greatest team ever? Doesn't matter what critics say, Lebron is incredible, but it doesn't mean he can beat the team on his own.

Don't think hes beating anyone on his own, he has a healthy Kyrie and Love this time around. Kyrie and KL have had their off games in this year's playoffs the Cavs will be much deeper this time around.

I expect a more poised and collected this go around, Dub in 5 or 6.

That, and the Warriors also faced a much better defensive team.

Look at the two games that Golden State lost. They scored 93 and 91 points - the only games in the series where they didn't crack the century mark - and the 93 point game was in overtime (86 points scored in regulation). The Warriors certainly had their hands full with James, but the Warriors explosive offense was really bogged down by Cleveland's defense; they were simply suffocated and not enough credit was given to Blatt for his gameplanning.

The Cavaliers are clearly much better offensively this year, to be sure, but Love and Irving pose real problems for them on the other end of the floor. The Warriors are also a much better team this year with a champion's swagger and have home court advantage again.

Dubs in 5.

I'm torn betwen:

A) Cavs win the Championship and the Raptors can say we pushed the Champs to 6 games in the ECF.

B) GSW win the Championship and the Raptors can look forward to possibly seeing the Cavs broken up a little sooner giving an opportunity for the Raps to actually contend.

i think for the cavaliers, this is their best chance..if they don't win this year, I don't know if they can ever win one...i have to say I'm glad LBJ returned to the cleveland because the heat fans didn't fully appreciate how difficult it is to win a championship & they have been to the finals 5 times in the 2006-2016, winning 3 times....
