There are no bigger Hinkie fans than me, but I wouldn't see moves like those as wiping away his legacy at all.
We knew that he was always thinking of assets instead of how they would fit together, and that one, if not both of them, would need to be traded eventually.
This kind of deal would piss me off last summer, but now that we are getting Simmons, my mind set has shifted towards roster building around him and Embiid.
That doesn't mean burn everything else, but I am ok with a deal "like" this one now in the sense that it OBVIOUSLY improves us right away.
I have to think about it some more, and I'm hoping that there would be more too it, but I'm sort of surprised by my gut reaction not being very negative on this one.
