I didn't see any of that. I just see them parroting the same report from Shams Charania...about a package 'centered' on those players.

An incredibly lopsided deal at that.

You're correct. copied the wrong link. I have so many tabs open looking at how real this could be that it's ridiculous. 8-) :o :D

Right! I underestimated Teague's trade value. If I was Philly, I would have atleast asked for Dennis instead.

It wouldn't surprise me lol. I'm surprised MIA (Dragic) or BOS (Smart/Bradley) didn't make an offer for Noel.

Great question...hard to say.

I'd guess, no. Horford would make the perfect veteran complement/mentor for a young guy like Noel.

But, a retool is indeed likely.

No way this is just for Teague straight up, though. What other useful vets in their prime could Philly be asking for?

What if this was a move to impress Al to come back to ATL? For the first time Al is a UFA and got control of where he'll play at. Plenty of teams will be after him and Hawks' core gets a year older so I could imagine he has to wonder how he could win a title in ATL if he stays.

Noel will come off the bench. We are trying to make the team better by ADDING talent to it.
No need to rush to trade Millsap.
Upgraded PF/C rotation with Al, Sap and Noel.

If this happened I'd think Splitter is gone with teague, not Horford.

Noel would fill the splitter role.

A great point and distinct possibility.

Horford is the cornerstone. Ressler might not see it, but Bud has to. He remembers his rookie season as head coach...with a losing team because Horford wasn't around to stabilize things on and off the court.

A front court f Horford and Noel could be a spectacular combo for the next four years. Both players cover the weaknesses of the others extraordinarily well.

I would much rather wait until draft night and try to work out a Teague package for Jaylen Brown, but if a Noel deal happen, i wouldn't be upset either.

Hearing Teague mentioned in a package of Noel, Stauskas/Covington is certainly a step up from having to throw in sweetener to net Oladipo. At worst this is a decent negotiation tactic setting his market.

It's weird though because Hump with more minutes while keeping Teague would have the same impact.

If you're going to flip Teague, atleast get a capable starter back.

Right! It's tricky. Hawks got pay Horford the max this summer because I could imagine a team like HOU/LAL/BOS will jack his price up, then got to practically pay the rest of the team next summer. I'm curious to see if this trade will go through.

This deal Noel for Teague would be horrible for the Sixers, i think that Hawks have to add some picks or players, ans Noel would fit great with Hoford, because ha can defend multiple positions, i believe ha can defend Lebron James on the paint.

Youre flipping an expiring for a young upside at a position of need. Noel COULD be a capable starter in a year or two. this would be a HUGE get IMO for the Hawks (as long as they moved out another BIg, like splitter or something)

I think it would be great for the 76ers. If they value Embiid and Okafor, Noel doesnt fit, ESPECIALLY if they take Simmons. Someone has to go.

If they can flip Noel for Teague, and convince teague to stay thats a good VET PG for them. But, I do question if he can lead a team that young. It would help both teams out. Teague is def the better player in that deal, right now.

Because they overate Noel and undervalue Teague.
Philly needs balance and leadership.
I forgot where I saw this "You can have as many talented bigs as you want, but if you don't have a quality point guard getting them the ball and putting them in the right position to succeed, you are wasting their talent' So very true.

Agreed. Some of these Teague shots are extremely disrespectful, he was one of the best players on our team. He's very good. You would think he was George Hill the way these guys talk about him.

This morning I saw one report say talks were just preliminary, and one saying that talks are currently advancing. Holding my breath that the latter is true.

youve seen how far this team can go with this current lineup. Teague is expendable. Hes reached his peak, and youre going to lose him for nothing in a year.
