The Celtics have a treasure trove of draft picks in the 2016 NBA draft, in addition to having plenty of cap room, an exciting up-and-coming core of young players and a proven coach, so they could be a realistic landing spot for KD if he decides to bolt OKC as an unrestricted free agent. Durant would reportedly like to join the Celtics in a LeBron James-Chris Bosh-Dwyane Wade-like fashion, so it'll be interesting to see what kind of moves Danny Ainge makes this offseason.

Where is THAT from?

I have seen these three things today:

[tweet]https://twitter.com/royceyoung/status/738052787641024514[/tweet]

There are quite a bit more tweets on Royce's page regarding Durant and all of his teammate's thoughts, etc...

https://twitter.com/royceyoung

OKC can pay him the most
With OKC he can do the 1 year and opt out to be on the same contract as Westbrook - both expiring in 2017
Maybe San Antonio - he might have a better team but Ithink OKC with Durant is better than SA with Durant

Unless he wants to play with his good buddy PJ - I hope he stays in the OKC uni's

Atlanta and Philadelphia are discussing a possible trade centered on Hawks guard Jeff Teague and 76ers center Nerlens Noel, league sources told The Vertical.

The sides have discussed the deal recently, but an agreement isn’t imminent, sources said.

For Philadelphia, there has been strong interest over the past year in acquiring a high-end starting point guard. The 76ers have the No. 1 overall pick in the June 23 NBA draft and will likely select Ben Simmons or Brandon Ingram, but have a glut of talent in the frontcourt, including Noel, Jahlil Okafor, Joel Embiid and potentially Dario Saric.

So maybe they're keeping Jah-esus now. Time to find a new suitor for BK?

Wouldn't Knight +13 be better for Philly than Teague +21?

Yes, because Simmons is your point guard, and you need shooters.

None of this matters because McD wouldn't make that trade anyway.

Why? I take it you are not a Warren or Booker fan? What does he possibly do right now for our team? Can't see why he would even entertain signing with us.

How does this team do? (healthy Bledsoe all year)...

Bledsoe, Knight
Booker, Bogdan
Butler, PJ
Tele, Leuer/#28
Len, Chandler

I'm just getting ready mentally for the Celtics taking Bender and Sixers keeping Oak.

So I guess you are saying the 4, 13, Warren and scraps will net Butler? That team goes nowhere soon, and Bledsoe will likely be done sooner than later. We need to keep our young guys and picks and use them and build through the draft. We can't consolidate too much.

The problem is, we might do something like this and it sets us back again long term because we will then be at a place where we should build through the draft but then the next GM will want to consolidate to get the 8th seed and we will lose multiple assets for an all star that doesn't make enough of an impact. If the dude can't make the playoffs in the east with that Bulls team, what chance does this team have with him? It's fools gold.

1. He is competitive. Seriously, that should be the #1 thing we look for in a player.
2. DEFENSE at the SF spot. It would be nice to have a defender that can cover anyone from PG to some PF's.
3. Can hit the 3.
4. Was ready to breakout, but had a bit of a setback. Preformed great for LAC with the little minutes he got, but did outstanding for the Grizz when he was given minutes. I see him as a better, more versatile, younger Tucker.
5. I see him as a better starter than Warren. Warren can bring scoring from the bench, but i feel like we need more than that from a starter.

When given starters minutes (30+) he has been great. Last season he played in a total of 5 game with 30+ minutes for Memphis:
33 points (12/20), 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, 1 block
18 points (7/12), 8 rebounds, 6 assists.
24 points (8/18), 11 rebounds, 7 assists.
19 points (8/21), 7 rebounds, 6 assists.
13 points (6/13), 2 rebounds. (against GS)
22 points (8-14), 2 rebounds, 4 assists (against GS)

add to that....

I've seen proposals to try and get Cousins and Gay. It made me think....what could this team do if we were able to get Cousins, Gay and ANOTHER current all star?

We could be the 13-14 Sacramento Kings!

We need to stay the course of building through the draft...but...have we ever stayed the course of building through the draft?
