It's unfortunate that we'll see Price and Wright, both of whom have our number. This could be a 1-2, but I'd be happy with 2-1. It was nice of the Orioles to soften them up for us. Boston bullpen is in shambles.

Dickey about to go for one of his patented, 1-ER, 3-hit, 4-walk, 6-strikeout games

Boston, Fenway. Not usually good for Dickey. So, I will say inning one

I mean that has to go on Bautista, but why does this team even have a 3rd base coach if he can't help stop stuff like this.

i'd go 1st to 3rd every time there with a catcher in LF. swihart made a good play.

It was a line drive at an outfielder with a very good arm, you're already in scoring position... it is the wrong decision.

Price could conceivably turn his season around and then pitch the majority of this contract at HOF level but this is not a 30 million dollar pitcher we are watching.

For someone who is reliant on MLB.tv to watch the games (cable cutter), MLB making ads during the TV breaks.....find more than 1 to show the entire game please.

Took an absolutely perfect throw. Nothing wrong with what Bautista did. The real question is why Edwin wasn't on the 2nd on the throw.

it wasn't "at an outfielder". swihart had to range to make the play and make a perfect throw to get him. with less than 2 out, you force the defense to make the play and if they dont then a sac fly/weak grounder/base hit/wild pitch etc. gets you another run. it's a risk worth taking with most decent baserunners, just have to give props to the defense in this case. if bautista doesn't take 3rd, the narrative would be "why didn't jose go 1st to 3rd and force the converted catcher in LF to make a great throw"?
