I think Knight and 4 MIGHT get Okafor, but if you don't think Knight and 13 can get Okafor, what makes you think Knight and Goodwin can get Noel? You think Okafor holds THAT much more value than Noel?

I understand Noel will make more money after next year, but team's likely won't be hurting for cap space and Noel is a defensive stud you can plug into the middle on almost any team.

I don't particularly want Noel or think our team would go for him for many reasons, two of them being the medical professionals saying his knees wouldn't make it through 2nd contract (major reason) and also that McD drafted Noel and they will be RFA's at the same time.

If we do go for him, hopefully we have bad luck with that.

Well not just that, but that graphic shows that Knight was a far worse shooter than any of those guys this past year. I think some of that had to do with team circumstances, but I don't really like his style of iso, dribbling, jacking up a long 2. And then there is the fact that we have Bledsoe and Booker. But those who consider Irving much superior are mistaken. He may be a little better, but not as much as most people think.

I know Kyrie is choking in the biggest stage of his life against a historically great team but don’t insult him like that, he has light up legit contenders and has a great playoff record whereas Knight only stat pads against bottom feeders. Kyrie regressed this regular season and gets hated on for being a flashy showman who overdribbles, but is still one of the best finishers in the game. Comparing their careers it’s a no contest, Kyrie obliterates him in nearly every APBR metric, be it PER,VORP,BPM. WS/48

Also..

Sure Kyrie's better but how much did he light up legit contenders before he played with LeBron? Knight has had some monster games too. I understand Kyrie's better but it doesn't mean I want him. Simply not a fan of shoot first pgs who avg less than 5 apg, or even pgs who avg less than about 8 apg. And he shot terribly from 3. I don't really care as much about finishing. That's a nice plus if you have elite passing or outside shooting skills like Curry or Lillard, but if not, you have Archie Goodwin. Not saying he's Archie, but I'm just not a big fan. Don't want him.

And you were saying? Sorry just gotta keep it real when this board goes delusional

Yes i do and for many of those same reasons you listed. Noel is older, on a 1 year deal, meaning his price is going to jump quite a bit to keep him, Defensive stud but his offense is very limited, and a history of injury. Also factor in draft position (Okafor being drafted 3rd this season over Noel being drafted #6 in 2013). All those factors make his price tag drop over Okafors.

How did I know you'd point to one came and say "See?!?!"

Yeah, he has some huge games. As does Knight. Knight had some monster triple doubles this year. These big games are exciting to see, but they are inconsistent players and it still doesn't mean I like shoot first point guards who avg less than 5-8 assists. Some of those long 2s go down for both players. Doesn't mean I like seeing them taken. They can both get hot from 3 too. Kyrie almost made a third of his 3s this year, so it can happen.

I think they would get much better offers than Knight and Goodwin for Noel from a (some) desperate team(s) if they in fact decide to trade him. As a matter of fact, after the Teague rumors surfaced, they probably have.

Well he's shooting 43% from deep for the postseason thus far and much more consistent, And by " monster triple doubles" you mean his only one against the Lakers

Apparently Bledsoe tweeted Suns plan to sign Barnes (RFA) in the off-season, then got deleted.

Not sure about that.

I guess so....I was thinking his 38/11/6 game was one too, and he had a 29/10/4 and four double doubles. Irving had no triple doubles and one double double.

The only thing that could get me through that are the Cards winning the SB.

Ok, lets clear this up real quick. A fan tweeted to Bledsoe "Future Sun Harrison Barnes" and Bledsoes response was "We have #40 ready for him".

So no, there was nothing regarding the Suns actually planning on signing him, just Bledsoe saying that number is available to a fan.

Okafor is not worth the 4th. He's basically Greg Monroe. We need a spot up athletic transition offense that can shoot. Noel would be fine cuz he'll generate turnovers and put us in transition. I'd rather we draft Dunn and trade for knight or bled for Noel. If not we can still trade bled or knight to New Jersey or sacto for a pick or a piece.
I think youth movement doesn't hurt. Nobody is getting past gsw right now. But we can position ourselves within two years and be back in longstanding playoff runs.

Dunn and booker solidifies a backcourt for years. Warren can man the sf- we will need a top five pf to take us to the playoffs.

Nope.

Okafor is closer to Lopez and Jefferson.

All 3 are actually shot blockers too.

Kevin love is definitely getting traded now, right? Not saying I want him, but not saying I don't. He was a beast in Minny. What changed?

What would you give up for him?

Don't think anyone hates him. The issue is how much you pay (a lot) for what you get in return (role player).

None of his stats show he may be worth the type of contract he will get
